You expose your children to a wide variety of goods. All your meals look delicious. No run of the meal ordinary dinners taking place at your house. You inspire me. If I could only get my kids to eat like yours! Many times during the week my kids will look to see what’s for dinner and if it’s too “adventurous”, they’ll say I’m not eating. I think it’s great that your children actually do enjoy to a wide assortment of flavorful foods! Bravo to the both of you!

I just had to comment on Mo's pictures each month as he grew throughout his first year, the donuts stacked up in the pictures is adorable!! I never saw anything like that lol I have 4 kids I had twins first and then 2 more and I did the first 12 months first with the blanket and then with blocks. I absolutely love the donuts though that was pretty cool!!!! Love from Boston 😊

Oh my goodness… I live in smokies of western NC. Id have to drive over an hour to a Costco. Which is fine… howeve, I don’t even want to brave thst! Lol I use to live on an island with no bridges, stores, mail.. nothing! Cumberland island national seashore. We had a life estate for my husbands life ( long story… eminent domain, before it was. Park) I use to have to get on boat in such hot and humid temps, go shop and keep things cold. Lots of loading, unloading, reloading… oh my goodness. I can understand what a fest it is! St least you can drive there. Life is an adventure!

While I only have 2 children, I did work full time, as did my husband. So when it was time for grocery shopping, my husband stayed home with the kids. I could shop and actually think at the same time. 😂. I have to say that taking all those kids to the grocery would drive me absolutely up the wall.

As usual, I just love your shopping hauls; I do have a question....instead of buying bottled water for your walking adventures, have you thought of having each child carry their own stainless steel water bottle? The kids could filter the water at home, and you would save money each week by not having to buy more plastic water bottles.

Just a thought if you are trying to cut the grocery bill down…you could skip the Kombucha’s and bottled water plus paper plates…it would probably lower your bill by $100 +. Just my thought based upon experience.

The paper plates are really cheap and save us a lot of dishes time but yes the kombucha is expensive. We’re a little too busy to make our own right now but one day I want to try! I really like the kids getting the probiotics.

I love Oxi Clean too but it is more expensive. I recently started adding Borax to my loads of laundry and I think it might work better than Oxi Clean in some ways. A little better price point too. I get mine at Walmart! Also love your family videos and all the cooking ideas! So helpful when thinking of meals isn't my strong suit. Haha

Thanks for the advice! Yes it can be expensive. It’s cheaper if you buy it in bulk but my older kids do their own laundry so I think they use too much sometimes.

It depends! The big kids often use their spending money but Melody sometimes doesn’t have as much spending money so we help her. She usually shares her treats though which is sweet! She also buys very practical things like herbal tea as a treat too, so we all benefit from her snacks ❤️

Yes! I am just starting to organize things a little better. Usually we rotate things once a month. I’m always looking to evolve the menu though. But I can do a video showing how we plan it for now. A lot of times people will give me meal ideas in the comments or an internet search or mom blogger gives me some inspiration.

Why not drop off the younger kids when you do your first shop and leave them with older ones so they aren’t be carted around the shops. Take some of the older ones. First time I have seen this channel so don’t know how old kids are but it would also be done quicker. Left in daylight, got home in the dark. I’ve seen another channel with a family of 14. They also live in NY coincidentally. Mum does the the weekly shop solely at about 7 am, takes normally 3 hrs and fills 3-4 trolleys.

Yes! Marc checked out the Aldi in the shopping center and he said it was pretty small, but maybe they have more things now. NYC mostly has Trader Joe’s, but I hope we get a full size Aldi here!

I love your Costco hauls! You’re very healthy family eaters! Have you tried Aldi market? It’s like Trader Joe’s but cheaper, they have good selections of organic veggies and fruits in smaller packages I like to go there when I go to Costco. Aldi is next to Target on the second floor, bring your own bags, ahh and a quarter to put in the cart.

Aldi's and Target is where we buy our organic foods. We like to order on-line and pickup our orders! We save a lot because we don't impulse buy! Target has a lot of on-line specials with their Target Circle plus the 5% off for using their card! They have gift cards when you buy specials which help us get stocked up on laundry detergents and other needed items! We don't have Costco in our area!

Yes we use a Brita filter around the house. The water bottles are just for when they leave the house. I’ve had them use reusable ones too but sometimes when they are in a hurry they just need to grab one on the way out. Especially in the heat.

Yikes... don't let the baby handle packaged raw meat.... It could easily be contaminated by other packages around it... put in a separate bag - like you do the chicken and then put at the bottom of the cart. Better safe than sorry....

Trader Joe’s has a lot of interesting products but a lot of their frozen items has preservatives. My immune system is suppressed because I had a kidney transplant. All their frozen items included desserts make me sick. I get terrible stomach upset and bad indigestion.
