I named my daughter Dahlia because is such a beautiful unique flower. Atleast for me. I always wanted to learn how to draw the flower but it looked so complicated lol but thanks to your tutorial, it's easier than I thought. Thank you.!

You put this series up 3 years ago but I just found you today. I have been going through all your videos today. Your work is amazing and you are an excellent teacher. Thank you for taking all the time to share your skills with us. Hopefully, I’ll make pretty work one day.

I love your tutorials! I watch them and think, "wow, I think I could actually do that!" You are so clear about what really matters and what we shouldn't stress about, and I appreciate the balance between the step-by-step directions and the overall big picture (specifically draw 2 rounded triangles pointing up, big picture this is the center of the flower that's not opened up). Thank you for all you share! ...and I say Dahlia the second way, Dall-yah with a short /a/ like in atlas. 😊💮

I am so grateful for this series. Stuck in a part of the country that is basically shutdown. Sigh. Your flower videos kept me sane! I learned new stuff and had a lot of fun. The result was so amazing! I couldn't stop looking at it! (Did I really just draw THAT?!?!) I turned it into a card for a friend.

My great granddaughter is Dahlia Rayne. Her name is pronounced "Dal yuh" she is a beautiful Mexican flower. I would love to draw her a large Dahlia to hang in her room but it's going to take a lot more practice. Your drawings are so great and you make it look so easy. You're very talented. Thank you fit the lessons.

believe it's called a doll-ya spelled Dahlia . The flowers are gorgeous regardless of the way you say it. I used to do the same thing. We have a couple pots outback with bulbs I planted a while back that bloom every year. Flowers are huge and beautiful reds and purple with white. Love them! Thanks for the tutorial I need to try it out.

I found this to draw a Dahlia flower for my daughter Dahlia Angelis. Here in texas we say Dah-li-a. Or Doll-e-yuh Dahl-lia it’s not Dowl-yuh or daily-ya. She has told me how frustrating it is for people to say her name correctly. And wishes people would learn the correct pronunciation. Most of her friends call her Doll. And I call her Doll-baby or dollface

Becca, a wonderful dahlia. The pronunciation depends on whether you say data or data, tomato or tomato! I don’t think either is wrong. More importantly,I need to make a comment about your sound effects when something appears on screen. DISASTER!

You pronounce Dahlia like you are saying Dallas, Dall-e-ia. The “e” is almost silent.
