I never say loosing weight, or weight loss. I say weight drop, weight reduction. I have reduced my weight by 6 stone. I am now on a journey to reduce the rest of the weight that I carry. I dropped the weight slowly and it has not come back. Thank you Stephen and David for inspiration to become a vegan. Nearly there.

My number 1 tip! Get some *sleep at a reasonable hour*. Late night snacking is the WORST. It can ruin a days efforts in minutes. Good luck!
@Phyreflyte7 жыл бұрын
S R Time affects digestion. If you eat and then immediately go to bed and sleep for six+ hours, your food will not digest fully, and the fat and sugar can be stored differently. That's why it's typically recommended not to eat past 7:30 at night, that way your body can fully process and digest the way it needs to before entering sleep mode.

Thanks for a great video lads :) one question, I don't understand the point on smoothies and fibre? Why do they have less fibre than the whole fruits? Even a homemade smoothie?
@ScubaRick87 жыл бұрын
Cian Ó Ceallaigh the fibre is partially broken down by the machine rather than you gut and intestines.
@irishalltheway9607 жыл бұрын
Love your vids! But when i make a homemade smoothie with just fruits, veg and water I'm not getting the same amount of fiber than if I just ate it?
@HopesIrishEyes7 жыл бұрын
Emma Devlin The process of blending everything causes your body to not have to break it down, pre-digesting it basically, so you don't get the same full feeling as if you ate each component. You can drink down a 1,000 calorie fruit smoothie with 5 apples, pineapple, mango, strawberries, etc., where you would be hard pressed to actuslly eat all that fruit! I just saw this mentioned by Dr McDougal yesterday on a video. ☺

What they say is all true, there's one more thing that helps you to stop eating junk food whenever you get bored/watch a movie or see others eating it, it's intermittent fasting, insanely easy, basically eat twice a day and fit those meals into an 8 hour period (2 big meals and if you must, in between, have fruits as desert). This will basically make you so full that in the first couple of days/weeks you will have to force the food down your throat, 2000 calories comes down to about 2.5 - 3kg of food (it's really hard for beginners to eat that much). I tested this, lost 12kg in 5months, with literally zero exercise (exercise is good but I wanted to test if you can lose weight as a couch potato, moving out of the house once a week or even less). You cannot eat stuff that has added sugar (if you want to sweeten something, use dates, soak and blend them), oil (no matter what kind, it's all the same when it comes to weight gain), (try to lower salt to the minimum 1-2g daily for preventing blood pressure/heart disease) try to eliminate all products that are made with flour and if you can't, only use 100% whole grain, whole meal products (the easiest way to check this, is to check the raw materials fiber content, let's say it's a lentil pasta, google lentil, check fiber content, if the pasta advertises as whole meal and it has way less fiber than the raw product (5% instead of 20%) then you know it's a BS product, usually the darker it is, the higher the fiber content). I eat fully whole food plant based but if you can't give up your meat, you can still achieve this, just first fill yourself up with fruit, lentils, beans, salad and only then (if you still can eat) consume meat. I guarantee a constant weight loss of at least 2kg/month if you do this (if you are overweight right now).

Definitely eat enough to sustain yourself, just eat those whole foods so the fibre fills you up and you have a small calorie decline (don't count calories too cause you'll get carried away with it, just eat until your full just eat the right foods)

js mn oh my god they sell dairy?! Won't somebody please think of the children?! And I'm all up for that. And yes they need to make a profit. They have vids on how to make your kombucha if you do find it pricey.
