Hi mate. I know it's weather dependant but with the weather lately how long roughly is it taking to make? How many times are you turning the grass? Any plans for a big square baler instead or does that not suit the operation? A couple of people asked about you reversing on the headland. Would it be worth considering a more turf or road type tread in the future? Also I see you don't use the for wheel steer, any reason? Good luck to you all.

I think self propelled mowers look the business. But dont look so good stored in the barn between seasons. At least you get all year round use with the fastrac and only have to store the mowers.

Just curious, why don’t you take an extra run round the headland to save on all the shunts on the up n downs

Keith McDonald it’s only one and once in the rhythm it’s fine! But I could spin it in that amount of room BUT the reason I do it on a shunt of to part turns, stops tearing up any turf, which saves the field and prevents listeriosis in any of our customers animals which we would be liable for...

How often do you have to blow your radiator mowing that sort of grass?
@thehayteamtv68304 жыл бұрын
Sam Heal twice a day
@jasondavies48874 жыл бұрын
@@thehayteamtv6830 another good reason to not have conditioners on the mowers, I think if you have conditioner on the front mower it cicks up more chaff in to the grill and radiator. I personally would never go back to a mower with a conditioner.

Sam Heal could fit a reverse fan to fit the standard viscous to blow the majority back clear.

Nigel Gribble if the weather let’s us, mowing would happen every night as we would get in to a Rhythm, or every other day. This year so far we cut on the Thursday then a Saturday then held off as due to Wednesday rain
