Oh wow. I just did some lights on a 2015 GS350. The inner corner was a challenge for me, but they came out like yours. The owner couldn't believe his eyes. He was so elated that he gave me a tip. Thank you for what you do.🙌🏽

Thank you for the explaining your spraying process. Do you ever watermark your photos for your business? You can make it transparent to like 10% so it's barely noticeable to stop the thievery.

Yes . These guys are crazy... today some guy tried to say headlight restoration is dangerous because he lost all his fingerprints and got finger infections and had to stop...lol 😅😆😅😆 I'm like you must have an IQ of 2.1 lol Here's the thing try not to send your fingerprints off I've never once said in my fingers..lol And also today I had another guy say he rubs deep on his headlight once a year and they're just as clear as these on the video...lol They just lie to themselves they're very unintelligent and like you said they're trolls spreading lies...ha ha ha... Thanks for your support I'm glad somebody else sees it...

Do you do this full time or part time? Also what do you think about the purple UV light to dry the headlights? Thanks

I believe the light question you're asking is addressed in this video..

If someone bought a brand new car, and even thought the headlights are in obviously brand new condition, would it be a good idea to put something like a UV wax on them to help protect the orginal coating?

I sanded and polished my headlights and its still hazy i even sanded it with 3000 grits and still hazy i think its the inside of the headlamp that got oxidized too, i wonder if i can sand and polish inside of the headlamp?

I saw you used P800 disc but what about following up with a 1000 disc??
@theheadlightrestorationpro9 ай бұрын
You could it wouldn't hurt anything it would be totally unnecessary though... It'll be like being a pool starting with a shovel and then putting a pickaxe stage in before you dig it out with the tractor wouldn't make any sense totally useless but it won't hurt nothing...lol With a 3000 trizact all those steps are useless...

How long does it last? Mine are peeling so sanding off that layer is going to be a pain.

In any business it's important to make sure that other's aren't stealing your intellectual property. You might have to contact an attorney to have them draw you up a formal complaint that you can send out to force people to take down your logos. We live in a crazy world.
@theheadlightrestorationpro9 ай бұрын
Yeah but in reality who has time for that and who has money for all that.... Takes me 3 minutes to make another one...lol That's the thing with lawsuits not everybody has time for it and not every person or attorney is going to take a lawsuit... And a lot of them take money up front... So half the time just not worth it..... So you just figure the best workaround I keep everything changing constantly...

@theheadlightrestorationpro9 ай бұрын
Speed 2 the fast setting but keep in mind I feather the trigger and I am who I am.. It takes a long time to get it down without messing things up you can do some damage best to start with slow and then easy to fast...

What do you say to a customer who has cloudy/hazy headlights that can’t come out crystal clear because the sun has damaged the lens itself. I’ve done headlights were looking at them I think it’s going to be a typical job then I get to the 3000 trizak pad and I see it’s not going to be crystal clear . Should I just tell the customer this one is for free or should I just though maybe hands up and say I’m sorry now pay me? How have you dealt with this ?
@klwthe3rd9 ай бұрын
I know exact what you're saying. It's hard to tell BEFORE you start if it's going to turn out perfect or not. I've had several lenses that didn't look that bad until i started working on them. All i can say is just do the best job you can do and explain to the customer if they have damage after the job is completed.
@theheadlightrestorationpro9 ай бұрын
I just dealt with this literally day before yesterday.. sometimes if it's so bad I'll stop after one light and let them know if they want to continue.. other times I just go ahead and go through with it and tell them this is the best you can get because of the situation and the permanent damage... You get paid to do the work.. if it comes out messed up because the actual substance or headlight is messed up and you can tell before you start shit happens.. it sucks and it hurts me and I feel bad but at the same time is I can only work with what is given to me and if I can't tell before it's done the work is still done to perfection... You got to think if you hire a mechanic to replace your transmission and he doesn't excellent job but now something is wrong with the engine as well the work isn't free the materials not free the time isn't free it's just your car is fucked up....💯

going forward you should put watermarks of your brand/company so people can't steal your intellectual property. I've seen so many youtubers having to do that because of knockoff channels stealing their material w/o asking for permission. At least you can start suing these thieves as a side hustle going forward.
