Another beautifully read video, Dee - and thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on these passages. It really is so helpful. What I'd love to see: 1. Eden, before the fall. To just sit under a tree, taking in utter perfection... I just can't even. Even the concept of that feels so alien now, which really saddens me, but I love to wonder what it was like. 2. Gotta be the parting of the Red Sea. On the one hand, surely terrifying - but all the more awesome. To see God casually break physics for His people? Too cool. 3. The multitude of angels announcing the birth of Jesus to a couple of clueless shepherds. That must've been MIND-BLOWING. Poor chaps probably didn't know if they were coming or going after that little display 😂 4. To be a fly on the boat when Peter got out and tentatively walked on water to Jesus? What a moment that must've been. 5. Gahhh... there's way too many to pick! Uhhh... breakfast with Jesus on the shore of Galilee. Or any one of his sermons. Or the Great Commission! Yikes. Are you doing a "Buy 5, get a 6th time-fly visit free" deal here? 😅 Well, now my ears are smoking from too much thinking. 😅 Thanks again for another superb reading!

Dee, as you read, it is so evident that your relationship with God is very real to you. I was listening just now as I am working, and clicked back over to your screen as I could hear the authenticity in your voice as you read, "Behold, the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world." This passage means something to you. I can also see it in your eyes. It's not an exprression of sorrow that I see in them. But an expression of deep gratitude. You are brimming with a spirit of absolute thankfulness. You "get it" so to speak. You understand the gravity of His work done FOR us. What I can clearly see in your heart is that you are in love with the only One worth giving your entire self over to. Thank you for being an example of what it means to have an intimate relationship with God. You show it well, and you express it in such a way that no one can question your faith in Him. Keep doing what you are doing because not only are you pouring into people, you are also inspiring people to seek something deeper than what they may currently have as it pertains to their current relationship with God. You have definitely found a niche for your call to the ministry. I don't wear hats. But if I did, I would say, "Hats off to you, Dee." Also, I appreciate your modesty. Not that you are doing any of this to attract anyone. But your approach to the application of your calling is done in such a way that it will definitely attract the right type of people in your life. Well done.

@@thehealingwordasmr You are so very welcome. That said, I will add that your humble spirit is evident in that you take the time to show appreciation and repsond to comments left on your videos. And just for your own reading (not assuming you haven't read this), I highly suggest diving into Ephesian 2. Verse one is difficult to wrap your mind around without an understanding of verse 10. But you'll need to really embrace verses 8 and 9 to understand verse 10! lol. Ultimately, verse 10 sums up the Gospel in a few more words than Jesus said himself. "It is Finished" is expressed in a pretty concise format in Epesians 2:10. All said, the only way we can fully understand and embrace our calling in full is to do what Jesus did: In the moment of His last words, not only did He destroy the power of sin and death. He also did something that may be the most difficult to grasp. If He was able to forgive all sin, including any future infractions, He negated the element of time. Think about it. If time remained a factor in the equation, He could not have forgiven anything in the future. That means, along with the power of sin and death, He also removed the power of time. If we can wrap our heads around that concept, I believe that is the key to walking out the finished works as described in verse 10, which is only possible if believe verse 1 is true! We ARE seated in the Heavenlies in Christ! The more I constantly remind myself of this, the more bold I have become in my faith and sharing the full Gospel. It's quite powerful. So, if you find time, look at Ephesians chapter 2. You may find your mind blown as you apply what I can tell you already know or have been given revelation of in the Word. You obviously take your Christianity seriously as there is nothing deeper than having and understanding of the Word of God. You are quite deep. And Deep calls unto Deep... or maybe I should say Deep calls unto Dee. lol

Your pausing to reflect is no interruption at all! It just serves to demonstrate the living nature of the text. That's so beautiful how you can come up with 5 things you would like to see as a proverbial fly on the wall. I'm not so good at the top 5 idea, but one thing I do think about all the time with regard to the Bible is what any of it would've been like as an experience in 1st person without the benefit of hindsight and narration. For example, it's one thing to read about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and even having a subheading within the chapter that says "Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead". But what would it have been like to actually have been there and to behold what was happening without any labels for any presupposition… It just simply being what it is? I have been a follower of Christ for 25 1/2 years now and because I am familiar with all the stories in the Bible, sometimes they lose their mystery. Anytime that mystery can be reborn, I consider that a treasure. By the way, I love your childlike curiosity and wonder! It's infectious!

I love "the beginning" in John. I marvel at the language used. It strengthens Genesis and makes clear that "Jesus", the father and spirit, as one with one mind, soul and body created everything by voice alone. Anyone who writes, creates fictional words knows the power of words. But we mortals can only create fictions and virtual worlds... That Jesus is "the light" and "the word" that the father spoke everything into being through. It goes to what Jesus says about him self; "the light of the world", what marry was told to name him" God with us: Emanuele " God gives us light to see that which we blind our selves to. "Let there be light" Without god, we would be blind stunning in darkness Many alive today still are...

5 things to witness like a fly on the wall? Cool question. I’d probably choose some quiet between-the-scenes or after-the-event moments, not necessarily described per se in the Bible, kind of like at the end of a movie, where they show still images of the places where the main characters went (like in the film, Before Sunrise): - Abraham & Isaac walking home after the angel stops Abraham, and Isaac is just talking about random stuff with his dad, like how he’s making a new bow and arrow, and Abraham is just walking, not saying much (“uh-huh, that’s nice”), but is smiling & teary-eyed - The Bethlehem stables, and everyone’s asleep, and the shepherds have gone back to the fields, and it’s really quiet, and the animals have stopped snoring, and baby Jesus looks really peaceful - A “regular” day journeying with Jesus & the disciples between towns, just walking & talking about stupid stuff like blisters on your feet or how Peter needs a bath, and then Jesus tells a cool story about when he was a carpenter and everybody shuts up to listen - The crucifixion site just after Jesus was moved to the tomb, and the thieves have been pulled down too, and all the people have left except you, and it’s kind of dark and rainy, and the ground is a mess, and you just look up at the empty cross - The ascension (I know, I know, this isn’t behind-the-scenes, but can you imagine this one? Wow.)

I would like to see creation like you said. I would like to see the raising of Lazarus, and some of his other miracles, but honestly I think I’d be most interested in seeing Jesus at age 12 when Mary and Joseph left him in the temple. I’ve always been fascinated with Jesus’ life before his ministry. Like what was he like as a sinless child who is God? I can’t imagine it I would also like to see the sermon on the mount, because for me that contains some of the most profound teachings. Like learning the Lord’s Prayer directly from Jesus sounds amazing to witness. Some of the Old Testament works of God would be mind boggling to watch too. Like when Nebuchadnezzar threw Daniels friends into the furnace and they came out unharmed, imagine seeing that in person?

@@thehealingwordasmr I remember one issue: As we have free will, it enables us to see good and evil and to choose between them. (the Adam and Eve and tree of knowledge scenario). After all, the way I see it, we can only see what is good if we can see what is evil, and only see what is evil if we can see what is good. This is the only way I can understand things: what is and what isn’t. I take this to mean that we could possibly over time change and become the makers of evil, after all, this is what happened to Lucifer. Here comes my question: God has said in John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." Does this mean that we will be unable to choose between good and evil and thus blind to these concepts? Or does he trust us enough that we would never do such a thing as to turn evil as Lucifer has done? After all, nobody qualifies to enter heaven and we are all saved by grace alone. I find it difficult to understand how we are to maintain a straight path that avoids us from perishing, with free will, and yet a promise that we will never perish.
@thehealingwordasmr3 жыл бұрын
@@Morgow1 I may not understand exactly your question but when God talks about the seal over us, and never perishing, that is solely the work of Christ on the cross - not us. We will never measure up. We will always be sinful beings no matter how many “good” acts we do. The only remedy is Christ.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Dee, I agree that I would like to see creation, I would like to see when Adam and Eve were with God before the fall, I would like to see when God first spoke to Abram, I would like to see when God spoke to Ezekiel, I would like to see when Moses first met God on the mountain with the burning bush. These are just some of the events I would like to see.

😊 The reason you have no question about that is simply because of who you are in Christ, and because of God’s written and spoken guarantee; John 1:12-Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God- Ephesians 1:13-14-13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory.

1)I would want to see when Moses and Elijah were with Jesus and his disciples were beginning to make a tent, then a voice from heaven came. 2)I would want to see Peter walking on water, and beginning to sink and Christ quickly grabbing him to pull him up 3)I would want to see Jesus with the crown of thorns being spit at, and all that stuff (people may find this weird but don’t you want to know how you would behave in such a situation? What your natural tendencies might be. Literally everyone was mocking him and saying “prophesy” and all that kind of stuff. 4)I would want to see him on the donkeys colt, when people were saying “hosanna in the highest”. (Everyone talks about how the prophecy’s talk about how his appearance was sort of what might be deemed ugly, but this scripture talks about the beauty of him) 5)Maybe see the women weeping over him when he died. (I think if you follow Jesus and suffer like Jesus as it says to suffer to have a part with him, it’s easy to get caught up in all the negatives of suffering, but Jesus did suffer, but people mourned for him, so there was sort of a beauty to his suffering. Maybe beauty is the wrong word)

5:10 Big mistranslation there by the NASB and NIV, it never called Jesus a God there, and he can't be because he is at the side of the one true God the Father. Trinitarians sure love this verse though. If you believe that it actually says that then you have to understand that you believe in two gods not one. Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:28

Definitely not going to argue with you. I believe God is 3 in 1 - father, spirit, son. Thank you

Does it say “he who is at the Fathers side” meaning Jesus, “has made him known”, meaning Jesus made God known. I think that’s the structure they are using here.

I'd like to see Shadrach Neschach & Abenago step into the firey furnace. The Dove coming down onto the Lord. The destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah. The story of Queen Jezebel & King Ahab.

@@thehealingwordasmr I have, watched a few today. A standing monument of the righteous judgement and wrath of God.. like the Ark of Noah, really cool how we have these things still around today. While we're at it, the various underwater cities of the Earth are also very interesting.
