That was so much fun to watch! I particularly love how you gave your actors permission to learn how to do it themselves. So many coaches out there try to make you dependent on them. As if you couldn't successfully audition unless you called them to help.

Hello! I’ve been into entertainment since I was six years old. Unfortunately, I did not have the support system or training back then. I am currently in my early thirties, and I would really like to take acting classes. If not for a career, as a fulfilling hobby. My question is, how do you get over the stage fright? Two, do you offer online courses like in this video?

I am not an actor nor do I plan on becoming one. I have often wondered how actors are trained. All I see is the finished product on a TV show or movie. It's pretty interesting to see a scene played out, you critique it, then played out again to improve it.

Yes! The final product you see on TV and in film usually requires years of training!

I had a question on repeatablity. You hear stories of how directors ask for multiple takes, sometimes in the 100s. How does an actor not lose steam after so many takes, while trying to maintain the emotional intensity of the scene, and keeping blocking/continuity in mind. How to keep it from growing stale.
@thehellerapproach2 жыл бұрын
Blocking/continuity through rehearsal and prep work, keeping the emotion intensity through staying present and reacting moment to moment. You may find this video, "Staying Engaged in the Scene" helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX-8dmRsh9OEgas
