I first heard Burke many years back on Doap Nixon's track Caucasian Slimewave and Burke did his thing on that verse but I never followed up on him to check his other material. I seen an Instagram post by Vinnie Paz the other day mentioning Burke so it reminded me of him so I went back and did some research on his music. Dude is no joke with the mic skills he's definitely nice with it. Good clear voice, nice flow, good concepts and he has a great ear for eargasm type beats that knock hard. To me there's nothing worse than listening to a rapper who has crazy lyrical skill but his beats are trash. Burke got an incredible ear for beats that fit his dope lyrics and stories nicely. Please believe this dude Burke the Jurke is an absolute animal with the pen game. I checked every track on all 3 of his albums "Know Alternatives", "Ear Responsible" and "Jurke Du Soleil" and all 3 albums were hard as nails and I'm from the 90's Golden Era of hip hop so my bar is set very high when it comes to dope hip hop. I recommend checking out all 3 of his past albums if you're a true school fan of raw hip hop and raw beats. Massive respect from NYC Burke I'll be bumpin your tracks for years to come
