All the Hitler theory did was want a game set during WW2 following that story. Maybe your assassin infiltrates German high command and learns of Hitler and the templars or you’re a German officer who sees the dirty dealing between Hitler and the Templars and become disillusioned then have a fateful encounter with an assassin and it goes from there; both ending in the assassins executing Hitler

Realistically, Hitler would be a rogue third party, and either Churchill or Roosevelt would be a Templar or ex Templar and the other an assassin in tense alliance to beat this dangerous new third party. My favourite AC theory is that the "Precursor box" is a miniature Animus, and the whole reason the Animus project got started. The box is a piece of Eden that pops up in a lot of AC media and games (most notably in Rogue) Once supplied with electricity, the box displays holographic projections of stored knowledge. in AC Chronicles Russia, it even awoke the genetic memories of Shao Jun inside the Russian princess Anastasia.

Ubisoft did become the things they spoke out against in both AC and Watchdogs, that is one of the reasons why they killed off Watchdogs and watered down AC. @raidenvakarian936210 ай бұрын
I think I left a similar comment on another video of yours, but just because Ubisoft say that the franchises aren't connected doesn't mean they actually aren't. For example, Square Enix has claimed repeatedly that Drakengard/Drag-On Dragoon, Nier, and SinoAlice are entirely separate franchises that aren't connected at all - in fact, if you check out Grimoire Nier (the book explaining all the backstory and lore of Nier), the dragon appearing in Tokyo is alluded to very vaguely... even though that's literally the ending of Drakengard 1, and the dragon and its rider are that game's protagonists. Same goes for SinoAlice, the latest update to Nier: Reincarnation confirms that the settings of both games, the "Library" of SinoAlice and the "Cage" of Nier: Reincarnation are one and the same, and yet on paper they're standalone franchises - the SinoAlice artbook makes no mention of Nier, and the crossovers with it and Drakengard are considered non-canon. Honestly, I think it's just a weird legal thing. I'm not a lawyer, so don't quote me on this - but there could be very good reasons why Ubisoft need to legally cover their butts and avoid giving any lawyer the excuse to claim that Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed are actually the same franchise, should it come to that in court.
@TheHiddenOne69010 ай бұрын
That does sound pretty reasonable. Maybe there's disputes with different ubisoft employees/ex employees that worked on both franchises, so they could've for the sake of legal reasons just said its not connected.

Since I don’t work for Ubisoft, I can only speculate…but… I suspect that they said it’s “just Easter eggs” because they don’t want people to expect a game where the two factions work together. Making a dlc that is a short story with the two interacting and committing to a full game involving that are two different things. It’s probably just not something they want to take on.

He became well known in Russia due to being very excentric with his beliefs of the afterlife & the fact that he helped heal the prince, who auffered from a free bleesing disease. There are a lot of rumors that he was actually pulling the royal strings at that time & convinced Nicholas II to go fight in the war & people speculate he did this because of a relationship he had with the Empress. Long story short, a few of Nicholas II's advisors were fed up with Rasputin & ordered him to be killed. The man was fed copius amounts of poison, was shot in the chest & castrated, then rolled up into a rug while being tied up. Well, his body was founs and he had untied himself and had water in his lungs (meaning he was still alive and fighting after all that)

Assassin's Creed: Threads of War This concept takes you on a journey through the Assassin-Templar conflict during two of the most brutal wars in history: World War I and World War II. The Setting: The game offers a dual-timeline experience. In the Animus, you explore memories of two different Assassins: WWI: You play as a nimble Assassin caught between empires in a war fueled by Templar manipulation. Explore war-torn landscapes like the Western Front, bustling cities under occupation, and exotic locations tied to hidden Templar operations. WWII: Take on the role of a resourceful Assassin navigating a world engulfed in global conflict. Explore iconic cities like London, Berlin, and Cairo, each with hidden Templar strongholds and resistance movements. Open World Design: Each timeline features a large, open world with diverse environments: WWI: Traverse trench networks, ruined villages, sprawling battlefields, and bustling cities under occupation. WWII: Explore wartorn European cities, sprawling deserts of North Africa, and bustling Middle Eastern markets. Stealth and parkour mechanics are crucial, allowing you to navigate war-torn environments and crowded cities. Each open world offers side quests, historical landmarks to explore, and hidden Templar secrets to uncover. Story and Gameplay: The narrative focuses on the Assassins' struggle to prevent the Templars from exploiting the chaos of war to further their control. You'll encounter historical figures caught in the conflict, some unwittingly pawns of the Templars. Gameplay blends classic Assassin's Creed elements with war-themed challenges: Stealth Assassinations: Utilize the environment and distractions created by the war to eliminate Templar targets. Guerilla Warfare: Assist resistance movements in sabotaging Templar operations and disrupting war efforts fueled by Templar influence. Historical Gear: Wield iconic weapons of the era alongside Assassin-crafted tools and gadgets adapted for war. Gadget Adaptations: The Hidden Blade could be modified for silent takedowns in gas masks or trench warfare. Moral Choices: The war presents difficult decisions, forcing you to choose between protecting civilians and achieving your objectives. Considerations: The sensitive nature of these wars requires a respectful portrayal that acknowledges the historical tragedies without glorifying violence. The focus on stealth and assassination would likely be emphasized to maintain the core Assassin's Creed identity, with open warfare used for specific missions or environmental hazards. This concept offers a unique opportunity to explore the Assassin-Templar conflict during a period of immense historical upheaval. The open world design allows players to experience the diverse landscapes and complexities of these wars, while the story challenges them to navigate a world shaped by both historical events and the ongoing struggle between the Assassins and Templars. tuneshare more_vert Upload an image This prompt requires an image that you need to add. They closed down the studio that were the original creator's got rid of alot of there employees just because the cooperation ubisoft is the same doesn't mean the heart of the original creator's/ devs were taken out of work just like Activision and infinitely ward for call of duty they replaced there whole team moved them to London were there's more strict censorship and took the heart and soul and essence of the original games and the only reason black flag was ok they were using assets that the previous team made seems like they struct the nerve on the real Abstrigo/Dee,p sta,te/ Centralized control of international affairs hidden

So no one has mentioned but in far cry 3 there is a side quest where you go through an old abstergo facility.

Hearing mention of Die Glocke in a video not about CoD Zombies is slightly offputting to me idk why (im big into both AC and CoDZ lore, and they both use the real life Die Glocke for lore) Bro, the entire CoD zombies lore is based on the Tunguska meteor event, according to that lore, a space rock containing large amounts of element 115 was what landed at Tunguska, element 115 is responsible for reanimating the dead, creating wonder weapons like the Ray Gun, and anything else mythical is explained simply by "Element 115"

Same here. Love both game's lore a lot. I like that both take advantage of these mysterious historical events and put their own twist on it. I had cod zombies in mind throughout the whole video while he was explaining all of this lol.

Can’t wait till the new ac multiplayer comes out and it will be epic if they keep some of the best classic game modes and maps and characters along with the new stuff
@sirlothric63572 ай бұрын
As far as I know. The 2 universes being connected of watch dogs and AC was true. You take out AC4s Garnaeu in Watch Dogs. And there is a photo of it in Origins. But they ended up retconning it in WD:L and the assassin dlc character isn't a canon character

I don't know which gaming studio needs to hear this but referencing the video game is an "easter egg", but adding main story elements like an assassin tomb and a hidden blade are direct connections and a shared universe.@Ubisoft

Id say subsidiaries. Blume and Ubisoft are Subsidiaries of Abstergo... Pretty sure that's there are even blatant hints and references like the use of Ctos and the fact the brotherhood has made use of hackers like Shaun and Rebecca. So its not to far of a leap. Despite the head creative lead saying otherwise... I don't understand why they don't say they are and have the Watch Dogs Legion be the fallen timeline of the Brotherhood or something... But i can see many people disliking that idea so meh. Would probably draw more attention to Watchdogs series. (Edit was to fix the spelling of Shauns name)

Bro why’d he have to ruin the fun in having a lore about the AC universe and watchdogs being connected. Garnaeu’s death to the brotherhood/aiden makes it worth while in not seeing him at all. But having the historical figures/ events changed in a way is crazy.

The greatest conspiracy theory of ac is on the templars.

i think the main thing with watch dogs and assassins creed is that the brotherhood and Aiden Pearce exist in both universes

The game essence and heart disappeard with the desmomd series instead of going against Abstrigo seeems like they made it pro Abstrigo black flag was ok sense they used the real teams assets the hidden pioneers of the franchise

So the watchdogs guys are the Assassin allies the Initiates. It's perfect.

The sad part for me is assassin's Creed lore could be so much better if there was just some sort unified story
@grizz_yankee2 ай бұрын
Think about it, almost all of the games too afraid to use the swastika already use The Iron Cross which is similar to the Templar symbol. On top of that with the fear of firearms being too overpowered, you could easily use this as a propellant for exaggerated stealth. Which in my opinion (I hate to say it) only mirage has done an extraordinary job at. So it would still be relatively new (Note: AC Shadows is not released at the time of this comment).

If anybody is interested in a similar open-world parkour game set during WW2, I'd recommend checking out The Saboteur, you play as an irishman in nazi-occupied france and you can climb anything. Good mix of GTA and AC.

As soon as I saw Aiden Pearce all those years ago I just had an itching feeling he had some connection to the brotherhood. Even compared to the other watchdogs no one is that good

Just imagine AC and CODBO1 crossing paths at JFK assassination. That would be crazy lol.

The problem about The Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs Easter egg is that Ubisoft doesn't explain what actually happened to Oliver. So despite saying it's not connected is entirely untrue because how else would you explain it.

Nah when I think of assassin's creed I think of shay from ac rouge non stop saying "I make me own luck"

The idea of "killing Hitler before his rise" is weird when you try to do it in 1943. Why not before or during WW1? Before WW1 would be the easiest, he won't be armed, he won't have an army and bodyguards of his own. If that would stop WW2, however, who knows. But 1943 is a really odd choice to try to do that lol

I know Ubisoft said, it is not connected. But wasn't there also a Abstergo logo in one of the Far Cry 3 DLCs? Or do i have it wrong in memory. EDIT: Yeah it was in the Lost Expedition DLC
