I just went and looked at the swing state polls and they almost all show Trump ahead. Virtually every national poll shows Trump winning the popular vote.

Trump was also the most popular president in US history by the popular vote in 2020. The numbers make it look like Biden was more popular, but we know those numbers aren't accurate.

I have some as friends and when I bring up politics, I’m not kidding, they literally say “I don’t follow politics and you’re wrong”😂 Some people have pride in their ignorance. Others just hear convicted felon and then say ohhhh well I better vote for Biden. He’s beyond reproach 😂

Yep, translation: Trump is way ahead, we need to motivate Dems to vote because enthusiasm for Biden is non-existent in his own party, best we can do is scare them that Trump *might* win, but we can't be honest that he *will probably* win, because that will undermine our plans to later say he stole the election somehow, probably due to the Russians again.

Biden's campaign isn't "I'm better than that guy" it's "I'm not that guy." No one who has looked into their life and whether it was better under Trump (pre-covid, obviously) can honestly say that Biden is "better". It's all about character.
