I think viewers are leaving CNN and MSNBC because these viewers were led to believe, by these networks, that most Americans thought the way they did. Donald Trump winning the popular vote shows that this is not the case. So, these viewers realize that these networks have not been giving them the whole story and they need to go elsewhere to learn about what they've been missing out on.

If nothing else comes out of this whole thing, I think balance in the media is the best thing that could happen for our country. I do not care where someone falls on the ideological spectrum, we should all be able to talk to each other with open minds, and respect. We have to stop d*monizing people for a different political opinion. Even 14-15 years ago on my college campus I could talk to people openly, with decorum to people who were all the way on the left, to people all the way on the right, and we could all find common ground, as well as respectfully agree to disagree on other things. We got passionate sometimes, but never disrespectful. The MSM on both sides has felt so much like pr*paganda, and people are sick and tired of that.
