All I was thinking all through that race was, did you build both these engines? as you could not get a closer race if you tried! It was interesting to see the slight difference in driving styles where you caught up on both the down hill and uphill sections and he had the slightest of advantage on the flat!

hi andy im running a ginetta g15 in the u s a with a so called c r gearbox ,but i noticed that you when shifting lost between 1500 and 2000between shift are you using a dog box , i loose nearly 3 k so the motor bogs in top , just trying to get some info , cheers

Yeah...Jack Knight 4 speed CR dog box. A 5 speed was also available and a wide range of ratios to suit all circuits.

The downchanges are painful. Practice braking and blipping the throttle with the outside of your foot on a piece of quiet road - please.
