Very impressed by the work involved with the the inlet tract & the machining / milling to get the angles required for a smoother air path , next it'll be an imp engine running NASCAR 😂 , great stuff 👍

Nothing like putting yourself under pressure 😀. Really interesting things you're doing and I'd never heard of a 5 speed Imp gearbox either well things have certainly moved on. Great video...again.

What size are those valves? As you say 998cc somewhere in this video. Just comparing to my silly A-series 998cc Mini engine. Which would be drowned if fitted with twin 45's Do have one of those Jack Knight cam'and'pawl diffs but for a Mini then, very interesting to drive with in a frontwheeldrive 😂

Ray Payne designed his own cams the RP2 was the best 120 bhp on the dyno.regading the angled head he did that years ago didn't make any difference.

You must have reserves of mental stamina to deal with your research and work load.. How much i would like to be able to pressure you more with the ability to compete.Only will take good news on a Wednesday or Saturday evening to do that. Definitely would go for steel forged(?) connecting rods..In the old days conventional ,but prepared rods were replaced every rebuild.
