"Mornin" is one of my all time favourite tunes I listened to as a Jazz lovin' teenager. Hearing this played by HSCC brought back memories. The only thing missing from it was Al Jarreau's SCAT towards the end. Would love to have heard some, but oh well. Nice Job regardless!

Love how the guy with the beard supported the high pitch with a friendly smile, this guitar, so easy and sophisticated and especially how the lead vocal decided to remove the autotune and rely on his own senses and pulled it out as analog and authentically as Al J would.. When I saw you were covering Al Jarreau my first thought was how could a mere mortal capture the voice of the God of Smooth himself... . I tell you what, the vocals were exceptional. As for the musicians.....WoW you guys were born to play that Jazz-Yacht Rock fusion. It's a genre that most non musicians consider to be nice background music but doing it well is challenging. The balance, the layers were absolutely perfect.....fantastic guys.

Glenn was up for the challenge and the results are VERY solid! This is more transcription with added vamp at the end but the band pulls it off extremely well...and this is NOT an easy tune to get right. NICE job!

I was 10 years old and on school holidays at my grandmother's house in Rio de Janeiro when I watched the music video for this Al Jarreau classic for the first time. Impressive how this melody entered my heart and made me cry. Today, 40 years later, I still feel the same emotion and his work is simply speechless. Wonderful!!!
