I find it hilarious the people that are giving this a thumbs down is because they don't like the man bun, or the lamp in the room, or no camera in the back behind the drummer, or the singer looking into the camera too much, or the drummer not breaking sticks while he's drumming or the bass player not using a pic. Or the room has to be repainted a warm lavender pastel color. Well, that certainly explains everything. Because we all know any of the thumbs down has nothing to do with the music. To all the people that have given this a thumbs down... you're on the wrong channel. You want the Martha Stewart KZbin channel. This is the music played to perfection channel. Cheers!

It's great that you want to compliment the band and they are ALL superb musicians for sure, but this is a very complicated piece of music and it would be tough for anyone to get anywhere close to the original. Listen to the start again... Respect, but the drums were not right and the guitar arpeggio didn't work either. Not meant to slam the band. Again, they are great and did extremely well for a live performance. But for you Mr. Muso, to say it's as good as the original after telling us of you 30 years of experience, is downright insulting. Taking nothing from the band...again, they did a great job on a very tough song.

@@pawelkruzel Hi Pawel, you are absolutely right I did miss a hit in the 2nd verse on this take (we did 4 takes). The reality is this is live without a net, no backing track or overdubs, one shot, the take used was most likely the best vocal take/overall feel. Trevor Horns production was impeccable and mighty, they spent months perfecting this recording, I did my best to replicate as much as possible and share the guitar parts between the other players (there were 7 guitar tracks on this song) Glad you enjoyed the track Cheers Dave #Korg #ObsessedWithSound

@@pawelkruzel Hi Pawel, Trevor Horn is a legend, watched lots of videos. Fun fact: Trevor Horn went out with my auntie around ‘74, my family would stay with them sometimes in Nth London. My dad is an organist (very hip at the time) and played in the same circuit as him, Trevor did a ‘dep’ on bass for about a week in my dads band. I think Anderson is one of a few who are at home in this vocal range. Maybe that's why he isn't weakening as much as others of his age do. I started playing in bands when Fragile came out and we covered Heart of the Sunrise. I was 16/17 back then and I know how hard it is to sing that way when you haven't got that special gift.

Very good :-) The vocals don't quite hit the piercing and clean tones of Jon on the original, but yes a very hard tune to cover. I would say the HSCC is exploring the edges with this one!
