The program was crisp but covered a lot of ground. Great understanding. Sriram conducted the conversation quite well given the time constraints. Whenever I listen to Aruna's "Vishamakara Kanna", I thoroughly enjoy not only the enthusiastic rendering of the song by Aruna but also the lovely lyrics! I am surprised that Arunaji could hold quite a nice conversation with a lot of information for the listeners' tastes. Overall, a well done program.

@@maliniaravindan5349 who told that Ariyakudi refused to sing Andal's Thiruppavai. He who put ragas to all 30 Pasurams of Sri Andal and popularised these hymns in carnatic platforms. Ariyakudi used two or three Pasurams in all his concerts. In fact inimitable MLV cut 2 LPs on all Thiruppavai Pasurams based on Ariyakudi's Mettu. These LPs sold like hot cakes.
