@@martinnitram3491 because elderly people are very trusting and haven't heard of these scams and these pieces of shit know how to manipulate the elderly (either by using scare tactics or pretentious kindness). Like sometimes they tell the old person that they'll go to jail for tax fraud or something if they don't pay them with $1000 worth of gift cards and the poor senior is frail and doesn't know better and is scared to go to jail so they comply. This is especially the case if they have dementia or something (which obviously isn't their fault, and it's disgusting that the scammers take advantage of this). Extremely few young people would ever fall for anything like this (unless they truly are very stupid and clueless).
