The Wild marching on without key cogs to the line up is beyond fathomable. Minus 14.7 in cap space, tap dancing trying to even have enough skaters with the injuries is insane. They are button up against the ceiling and keep plugging, impressive.

After Linus Karlsson scored his 1st NHL goal, not a single Canuck went over to grab it for him. The referee had to do it. Guys like Hoglander, Pettersson and Myers all skated away without a care in the world. Even after the referee grabbed it, he had to go over to the bench himself. Does that look like a positive environment?

Last night I was at the Utah Pittsburgh hockey game and they let us fans vote on the 3 names and logos that the team will be using. You had to give them your phone while you voted on a iPad and got see the new logo for the Utah hockey Club, Wasatch and the Mammoth. The logo for the hockey club and Wasatch are the same design while the Mammoth is a completely different design. The logo we got to see is the logo they would have used for the Yeti if they could have gotten that name. Very good looking logo for both designs. The next 3 games fans at the game get to vote for their favorite. Colors of the logo and uniforms are the same as they are now. The team is going to use the Yeti Logo and Merch if the fans pick Utah Hockey Club or the Utah Wasatch

As a kings fan I’m not worried but I’m not happy either. If you’re gonna slump I guess now is the best time to do it. Strong start, slump out in December/January then a strong finish to the regular season and come into playoffs hot. Need to show signs of life soon though.

Update for everyone on the Utah Team name. They did not allow photos of the logos during voting. They took your phone before entering the booth. The Utah HC option will have the yeti logo as well as the Wasatch. The vibe from everyone in line was mammoth was the best looking.

So how about RW Brock Boeser to the Oilers for D Evan Bouchard and a pair of their six 2025 2nd round draft picks? Oiler fans hate Bouchard for "giving up too many pucks" and "sloppy defense" yet he's currently sitting at +18 and has 8g 29a 37p after 50 games. Bouchard puts up similar offense to Brock (43gp 16g 17a 33p & -11), he's like the Jets' Josh Morrisey but bigger (Josh has 51gp 5g 38a 43p & +11). Bouchard paired with Quinn Hughes on the Canucks PP would be a scary duo.

Vegas and Seattle went through the same thing Utah is now: fans voting for a name that in the end wasn’t chosen. What a waste of time. They’re going to be the Yeti, or get stuck with a dumb, generic name like Mammoth (Kraken vs. Sockeyes, now look at Seattle’s bland identity.) Also, remember those articles about Michkov (could he score 50 in 50 games?!?) and my doesn’t this league still manage to humble some folks. Obviously a talented kid, but when you’re 2nd in team scoring and haven’t scored much in months, your team’s not very good.
