Tekken 8 is not in a good spot. The only reason it was so positively received was because it had been so long since the last game. Street Fighter 6 seems to be the only fg to be doing well since launch. Mk had a rough launch, and they've been paching the game fixing their mishaps, but i will say the game has gotten better and feels pretty good to play.

@louiewag9343 Tekken 8 has been one patch away from success since launch, but clearly, that's not Bandai namcos priority. The ranked system and overall matchmaking of the game have gotten worse since the Eddy update. Cheaters and pluggers run rampant with no consequences. All the all shop items are mostly just recycled customization items from Tekken 7 we had for free. Also, you do not need to buy the MK dlc to get a good experience. All the balance changes have been available to everyone. I'm not sure why people keep saying this character is going to save the game. The problem with the game was never the lack of characters. It was the implementation of the kameo system.

Fact check!!! Bi Han was Sub Zero in MK9. Kuai Liang was Cyber Sub Zero in MK9 and reborn as a revenant in MKX and revived in MKX as GrandMaster Sub Zero. Bi Han was Noob Saibot in MK9, and MK11. He missed MKX for some crazy reason. Sorry, been a Sub main since 1992. Felt I had to correct him.

Sikander is so full of himself but has no spine. Which is why hes going to be playing mk1 until the next title despite his current "views" on the game. Hes tried playing different games, like Elden Ring and other games that are actually good, but he cant pull off the audience retention with his lack of skill and flimsy personality alone. Without the Mortal Kombat name, Sikander is virtually nothing. Seeing and listening to him talk here, only solidifies what I know about this unimportant character. He will confirm how Mk1 has been nothing more but a "beta", while also covering for the game when it was first released by demanding others to fight him in 1v1s. Calling others who were criticizing the game "broke" or "bad at the game". Going on twitter and streaming all of this free promo for Mk1 is the opposite of how one would treat a beta. Having multiple tweets available to confirm Sikander's initial defensive standpoint. Sikander knew the game was trash since release but he saw the hate bandwagon for Mk1 getting bigger, and decided to use these statements now to fluff his inevitable fall. Let him do his "beef sets" in that ivory tower that we know is his mom's house. I respect Mike Hollow's opinions and even for platforming Sikander, however what this gollum stands for is nothing more than just shilling MK1. By constantly playing it, engaging with it, he's keeping a fire going for one of the biggest AAA cash grabs we have ever seen. Instead of rightfully condemning it and not playing it to prove a point to developers, he's milking it for his own benefit, while advertising it to others. And by only staying on MK1 despite having other options he is only confirming that he can't succeed in any other game on his own. He brings nothing of value except blatant toxicity. He's "beyond excited" for Khaos Reigns? LMAO we know. More shitty content for this guy to pump out while shilling a DLC that should've been free for how badly mismanaged this entire game has been. I've played MK11 more than any other Nrs game in terms of total hours. It's not better than mk1 in my opinion. It's a much better quality than mk1 for sure. The quality of features in mk11 is better. The fun factor of the characters and what you can do is inferior. Combos , set ups were not as good in mk11. Rechargeable meter without effort was by far one of the worst mechanics. Fatal blows were atrocious the list goes on.

Agree , just some aspects of mk11 or traits that require good skill level oppose to mk1 , flawless blocking took good skill level on many combo strings and jump ins and that was very good about it compared to mk1 is so easy to pick up .

Saying year 1 was just the beta is severe copium. Big woop about warrior shrine. Its not going to be something people care about. No need for online practice because the meta hasn't changed since day 1 and there's nothing to practice. Story mode is all multiverse BS, which is what the majority of people said was the worst part about the story mode. Animalities will be interesting for exactly 1 day. If youre struggling to get in as Subzero while he has slide and dive kick, it's a skill issue. Great job on the weight loss though 💪
