I respect the grindset this is now the third time in my life that I started a new hobby. Clash royale. You had a channel. Marvel snap. You had a channel. Now disc golf. You have a channel. Its just wacky to see myself jump to the same hobbies you are without talking to directly about it. Keep up the good work. Good stuff mine. Brave is sick btw.

Molt, you must have a lot of spin on those discs because others have said this should be more of a -2.

I got a blue one and I’d say it was at least a -2,1 out of the box. Definitely not as stable as yours seems to be. I still really like it for hyzer flips and turnovers but it can be a little touchy. Still a great disc though

I also got a blue and it was SUPER flippy. I like understable drivers, but it flipped so fast and hard out of my hand that I couldn't control it well.

I thought during your round videos you were saying (B)Rave but I haven't kept up with disc releases so missed that Lat64 had released this disc. Glad you did a video on it. Looks a great disc

This has been a hyzer-flip BOMBER disc for me, I've been loving it. Quite a bit more understable than I thought it would be, which has actually filled a different slot in my bag than originally intending, which is great because I am a 7 speed lover and have 3 other 7 speeds in my bag, so I did not have to kick out another disc for this.

Mine is pretty flippy out of box. Same color. And my arm is not as strong as yours (57 yer old with 300 foot golf distance at best). I’d compare it to a westside Stag as far as flippyness. I love the disc! I can get to flip but it fights back. It’s the DX Teebird in premium plastic I spent two years trying to find. Easy flipper that fights back nice.

You are likely more speed dominant. Mr. Holt is more Spin dominant. Speed gives the disc turn (high speed turn). Spin gives the disc gyroscopic stability. The less wobble (which will never be Zero), the sooner the disc will be able to get to it's natural flight path. Example: a disc that is understandable and thrown should drift instead tipping (tipping leads to unintended rollers).

I looks very similar to the flights I get with my Stag as well. Love the Stag

@@superblitz This is what makes forehands touchy and need higher speeds OR stability to compensate spin lost comparatively, Mr. Holts forehands are smooth and seems to get a high spin for forehands as well.

Welcome back. I am looking forward to throwing the Brave, but I am not sure if it would ever replace my River. I occasionally throw the Westside Seer and DD Maverick which have similar flight numbers. Again, they are fun fairway drivers, but are not going to replace my River.

how i approach discs is i find a disc for the tailwind and i find a disc that flies exactly the same in the headwind.. i also use that same approach but some discs have skip and some finish forward.. i also throw all discs on slight hyzer to deeper hyzer depending on the wind and distance.. i can hyzer flip a 14 speed 540ft on a slow xstep..

I would love this disc. I cannot get around to like 7,5,0,2-discs, they are not shapeable anyway near the discs that can hold a hyzer, but can flip up for distance. After my normal mids I use the Kastaplast Stig which is a bit understable for holding hyzers over 250', then i jump to 9-speeds of which I at the moment have in 5 stabilities. I need that speed to get the aformentioned 7,5,0,2 flight since I don't want to rip hard on stuff below 300' in the woods. (Since I still have the Viking Discs Cosmos ITB that flies 7,5,-2,1 all above is sort of a lie, but its getting bumped from the bag soon since my forehand is getting 250' RHFH now with all 9-speeds and above and the Stig or normal mids can handle turnovers better.) When you go to the maximum distance videos again (which i hope you do since it will help you get content "easier" even if it means no normal discgolf for the mental recouperating) I really want you to test a plethora of different discs from all of Triology or even House of discs! I think I remember you talking about your hands not being big enough for the 14-speeds on backhand, go into detail ;)

Curious as to how you would compare this disc to a stag, knowing how much you enjoy them. Mine seems like it's a bit flippier than a stag, but not quite as flippy as a hatchet.

On my experience, the Opto River is more stable than the Brave(Gold and Ice seem less stable than Opto), then the Maverick is less stable than the Brave.

Does anyone else have the experience of this disc being understable out of the box? It flies more like a 7/6/-2/1 to me. Less stable than an Opto River.
