A tip for locking on is that that cursor on your screen is not where your cursor really is, it’s in the middle of your screen. So when your kinda far from someone, look straight at them then lock on 👍 (although I do think that you figured it out half way through heh) (edit 2: he made a comment on it 💀 ima still keep my comment)

Tip: you can use ragdoll cancels to curve your opponent, this works really well for Genos, Metal Bat, and Atomic samurai. Pinpoint slash is a great demonstration of how much lock on can be if you know how to utilize it correctly. You can even stylize a combo to a variety of combinations, I, myself. Use pinpoint at the base then dash, once they are on the ground, disable lock on, side dash, and then use atom slash. Once they fall onto the ground and then get up, use quick slash and that will deal 50% or more.

Personally, I have only ever play on mobile and console (xbox), and I have never used lock on. It gets in the way of my side dashes and puts my screen at the center, which means I’m not able so see into the sky or around me as easily. It took about a month of practice without it and im already getting into to fights with better pc players and winning, without lock on. Good videos and keep posting for us.

I totally agree with what holygrail said about m1 speed change. Changing the m1 speed would quite literally change out the playstyles of so many characters. Especially saitama as one of the key features about him is m1 speed, the reason why a lot of people use him in the first place. Even from a developers perspective they would probably say that if they do proceed with this update they would just have to add buffs and nerfs to certain characters. I feel like m1 speed is not a necessery feature to change, it will change the whole game in a worse way.

lock on is actually pretty hard to do in tsb. you have to be incredibly close to them, like closer than the m1 distance. in other games, it’s a lot easier to do. (btw ps5 controller sucks it strains your thumbs)

I first started playing TSB on my PlayStation because I was at a friends house when he showed me TSB, and after about a month of playing on PlayStation I decided to try and play on pc and found out there’s a lot more freedom playing on pc because of the emotes and stuff and it’s also less laggy on pc because table flip would destroy my PlayStations frames, but I got a lot more skill playing on pc since I had to actually aim and time stuff instead of just spamming the buttons until it lands

well i have been playing on the ps5 for a while and my favorite game to play on it is sbg because I'm not the best but I'm decent and once you play on the ps5 for a while you get good with the aimlock and it helps you with dashing behind and blocking because if they try to go behind you it will also turn you around so it helps and also i experience some lag on it so beware of stutters.

A quick fun fact is that if you go into first person mode the lock on doesn't affect your camera which means you can do something like using ignition burst into the air and then I get out of first person mode to lock on and beam the player you're targeting

the dualsense edge controller lets you modify your keybinds, meaning that you can change circle (attack) for another button, like R2 trigger, meaning that you can make your own way to play, i did and its easier to play with the dualsense edge controller that a regular one
