I have 3 grown kids now. When my kids were little, we would have a family trip every year, whether it's a cruise to the Caribbean, a trip to different places in Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska etc. , but if I could do it over again, I would take those trips and leave the kids home because my kids don't even remember any of those trips when they were still young. But definitely, taking them to trips to different countries is great when they are much older, where they can appreciate and remember all those places. It's OK to leave the baby if they are still small, it eliminates stress, and as a couple you'll enjoy your trip and a short alone time together, this is perfectly OK and healthy for your relationship. But this is just my opinion knowing what I know now, that my kids are all grown up. You have a lovely family and you'll do what makes you both happy! Memories are to be made, afterall!
