When I think of estate sales, I think of someone who was loved died. When I had my parents' estate sale it was incredibly hard to watch strangers rummage through my parents' stuff. The resellers were the worst, they would make comments "not worth that" or "junk" I actually asked some to leave. You two are at least respectful. Always remember these "things" belonged to someone that someone else loved.

Enjoy the crows in your yard. They are extremely intelligent. They use tools to complete tasks and actually construct tools out of multiple items. The crows in my yard have brought me multiple gifts. Some not great, like bones but they’ve also brought me jewelry, including a broken 14k chain.

Pinwood Derby. Cars were all made of pinewood and had to weigh a certain amount. My dad and brother worked tirelessly on his cars. He won his first derby, then his second he won best overall. I've never seen my dad with a bigger smile on his face when my brothers car crossed the finish line. ❤

Shame you passed up on the little ceramic Christmas Tree because it was missing some of the lights bulbs. You can purchase replacements for them. The Jim Shore Santa for $15 with the original box, was a bargain. The little car is similar to those raced by Soap Box Derby participants.

The needlepoint lavender flowered pillow was GORGEOUS!!💜💜💜 Asher is 100% puppy!! Use the command "Leave it" and have some treats in your pocket for reward. (The make treat bags that you can clip on your belt.) Have toys near you to distract him from the merchandise. 💜💜💜 That one command has saved me daily!!

The heaviness of the peanut butter helps make them sleepy and a little tired plus all the chewing tires them out a bit. It helps try that combo

Awesome finds guys! Such a fun estate sale. Love the leather owl bank and the wood desk figure. The cheapest and best to buy for ice melt is, believe it or not, water softner crystals. They come in a huge bag from the hardware store and we only pay around $6 to $8 a bag. Since it is meant to add to your house water system it won't hurt any animals, domestic or wild. We have lots of birds and little cotton tail bunnies all over, we live in the country. One bag usually last us all winter, using around multiple house doors and the shop doors as well. Asher is so beautiful, love his spots and eye lashes. He is the prettiest Cocker Spaniel ive ever seen. Stay warm and TFS!✌️🙂🙏❤️

That thing is normally for poached eggs instead of deviled eggs (i love dev eggs too Matt!) you set it in the holder and use your spoon to crack the top and use the spoon to scoop out the egg to enjoy.

Yes, there was definitely a couple grand on that table if in good condition. I tried to see prices on it but couldn’t. I think sometimes as resellers we get tunnel vision for items we often sell and don’t even notice other valuable things. I fell into that several years ago , realized and now make a very conscious effort to take a good look at everything.

Egg cups are for one side for the hard-boiled egg on the small side and on the other side is for a poached egg so you can pour it out and eat it.
