I have a different perspective on thrifting. I have the view that I appreciate the opportunity to shop for things I need at a lower price because of the generosity of people willing to donate their items for free. I am very grateful because my children’s father passed and I am supporting the family alone. I cannot afford to buy things at regular stores. I am so so grateful to goodwills and other second hand stores for their help to make my life possible. Also dollar stores and garage sales are helpful too ❤

I'm in Texas and it's bad here too. I had Flu A 3 days before Christmas. My family just came back from a cruise to Cozumel and 5 out of 9 people are sick now with the flu. It sucks. I was so sick with it.

Thank you for informing us that couch cushions can be worth money! I never knew. I finally realized my cushion I thrifted a few years ago is kinda fancy. Sure enough I looked and it had a designer tag! I looked it up on eBay and this designer cushions sell for between 30-75$! I definitely paid less than 10$ on it probably more like 3-4$!
