Pull the felt off the bottom of the wooden birds, if it says Copeland, they're very light and made from cypress. I collect them. If that is the case, they were carved by CM Copeland, Jr. who was from Fitzgerald, GA. Mr. Copeland passed away in 2000.

That wallpaper is not from Fantastic Beasts, its from Harry Potter , its the Black Family Tapestry found in Sirius Blacks House. First seen in The Order of the Phoenix.

Coming in a year too late, but yes.... the 's' at the end is not pronounced. lee-mozh. The scene on your compact there is usually referred to as Courting Couple. For reference, see the painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. Check out his painting called 'The Swing', it's beautiful.

Great find with the wallpaper. They should have held onto that. I always recommend to my customers that they buy an extra roll of paper when doing a room because you never know when a wall might get damaged. They're going to regret selling that to you if their kid puts a hole in the wall or there's a water leak.

I was born in 1959, and those greeting cards are very much like the ones I received as a child, including the spidery handwriting that was like my Grandmother's. Blast of nostalgia! " I am surprised these are still sitting here because I live in Kentucky" I had a good belly laugh when you said that. Nice picks! That wallpaper was a good score!

I have several of the Bernardaud votives that I bought when I went to Paris on a couple different business trips. It is a votivelight made of porcelain...they use a traditional engraving/carving trechnique that makes the light from the candle look absolutely GORGEOUS!! If you find another one, take a moment to light a candle to test it out. Beautiful!! One of my favorite things!! 💛

I have some vintage cards from cleaning out my parents house. Also found Christmas cards my mom bought probably from the company Current that used to sell greeting cards. You could have you name and address put on them. She either ordered too many or didn’t send them out. My parents both passed in 2019 ( mom in January and dad in March). I put one inside my Christmas cards to my siblings that year so they still received a card from our parents. Also found vintage wrapping paper. I’ve been using the Christmas paper to wrap my kids gifts in. 😍

I don't know if anyone told you the kind of wood the birds were but I think they are bossil wood (I may not be spelling that correctly). I'm pretty sure it is a grass like bamboo that gets hard like wood. Do you ever get to Louisville for sales? We've got a ton of Goodwill stores that you could visit when it isn't yard sale season.
