Say what you want about Loki but he loved his mother. That scene in his destroyed cell is heart breaking.

Idk all about the comic book backstory of Frigga, but I know she is a witch, and not a God. She taught Loki magic as he was growing up, so that he wouldn't feel inferior to Thor, who was naturally born with his powers. Plus, it helped keep the lie up about Loki being their child. Odin changed Loki's true appearance to look more humanoid when he found him in the temple, abandoned by Lauhfey. (Forgot how to spell his name) lol To us, Odin and company are aliens, because they come from another planet. Different aliens have different life cycles. Some aliens had their existence made or enhanced by superior space aliens said to be responsible for many beings having abilities on different planets. Odin's bloodline was one of those enhanced/created beings. Odin said that in earth's earlier stages (primitive) of human population, in Nordic regions, Asgardians were seen as gods. They have a longer life span than earth humans, so that's why they would be seen as immortals. I looked up referenced material, but not all about it. If I misstepped on something, please share. I grew out of the comic book reading back in my preteens, but I do like finding out more info from those who have...so please fill me in or correct if got something wrong. The MCU is a community, so.....

When I first saw that scene my first thought was "wow, that kiss looked really intimate" so knowing it was his wife later made much more sense, and was more fitting instead of Natalie imo.

They filmed most if these movies just north of where I live. I was an extra in 6 movies..I trained with Chris for this one....I was his boxing coach...he is amazingly cool...it was so much fun...I was a stunt double in infinity was for bucky...AKA Stan it was the time of my life
