Thanos has more commitment to his cause than the heroes. He is prepared to sacrifice everything to achieve his goal, whether his adoptive daughter who he loves, his faithful black order or his army. And it isn’t him being selfish - he firmly believes that what he is doing is the best thing for the universe. The heroes aren’t completely committed to their goal. They had multiple opportunities to sacrifice one (either Vision or Gamora) to save billions.

@calebclunie40013 жыл бұрын
There were more than two options. By his logic, he would buy their universe, roughly, 50% more breathing room. Alternatively, he could've used the stones in different ways. For instance, he could've made more room, by converting existing, uninhabitable planets, into inhabitable ones. He could go back, and seed life, or phone a Celestial, or just bend reality, right? There's, also, his initial trauma, of seeing how Titan fell to ruin. He could go back, and find solutions to their problems, so he wouldn't have to be alone. He, basically, chose a streamlined route, to end up a curmudgeon. He could've been Santa Claus, but he chose to be The Grinch.
