Nah, the moment Black Panther and Spider-Man were dusted, it completely undermined the ending for me. I knew they'd all return. Hell, Disney literally can't kill off Spidey. They don't even own his rights.

I was mad as hell. So many chances to stop Thanos, yet peope were not will to make the necessary sacrifice. Steve Rogers idea that no one eath is better than many. How did that work out? If they had killed Vision at the start of the movie Thanos would not hae know where in time to go back and find the mind gem. The individual must sacrifice for the good of the many.

So fun story I was asking to see this movie to my parents and there was this kind of family meet-up type thing so my parents didn't know better than to invite them all to theaters and turns out they all didn't watch marvel. After movie I was Thanos and the fight was onesided with 3 generation of people to deal with flip flop(chappal),and who knows what all I almost went blind

@@nochannel1276 Thanos has a point and a perspective that souds rational , but he forgets to consider the human/emotional cost. This is why tyrants always sound compelling. Think of Battlestar Galactica the A.I solution to solve earth's problems is to eleminate humans.
@MrJorge3010
@MrJorge3010 3 жыл бұрын
@@lethaldose2000 He doesn't have a point, his whole solution is pretty stupid, especially since the population will just go back to what it was fairly quickly. We have gone from 2 to 4 billion in 47 years and we'll double our population again to 8 billion in a total of only 35 years. So he would have to keep snapping, at different rates for each planet. Also, making half the population disappear suddenly would completely disrupt all our processes and most likely cause worldwide chaos.

Endgame wasn't as good tho infinity war had a sense of danger. The best part of endgame was black widow death and Ironman. Infinity war felt more scary and Thanos felt deadly. I love the conversation between Dr.strange and Thanos on titan. One is a physician someone who lives to save all life. And the other a dictator who values the some over the many. Spidey's death was the most heartbreaking for me, because he knew he was going to die due to his spidey sense. He was having an actual physiological reaction to the imminent danger. He was feeling sick because there was no way to escape that danger. That was just gut wrenching...

@@superbluelordyt9544 I doubt the healing factor has something to do with it. Thanos didn't hurt them in any way. No one felt any pain. He just transformed them into dust. They just ceased to exist. By this logic, there is no healing process with anyone. They even called it the blip, because they woke up instantly after 5 years. In every rendition we've seen so far, the spidey sense is pretty much the body's physiological reaction to an immediate danger that has yet to come. Peter was feeling sick, because his body wasn't detecting a way to escape the immediate danger. Of course, this is just my logic, and we're just speculating now. I just don't see how the healing ability would be in play here.

Thanos has more commitment to his cause than the heroes. He is prepared to sacrifice everything to achieve his goal, whether his adoptive daughter who he loves, his faithful black order or his army. And it isn’t him being selfish - he firmly believes that what he is doing is the best thing for the universe. The heroes aren’t completely committed to their goal. They had multiple opportunities to sacrifice one (either Vision or Gamora) to save billions.

Mercy he meant is when he snapped his fingers all will be completely dusted without any fear or pain. That's generous. In his mind Thanos is doing the only thing that can be done to save the universe. Thanos saw life disappear from his planet due to overpopulation and he does not want that to happen everywhere, so he has made the decision to be the one to do what needs to be done no matter how hard it is. There were more than two options. By his logic, he would buy their universe, roughly, 50% more breathing room. Alternatively, he could've used the stones in different ways. For instance, he could've made more room, by converting existing, uninhabitable planets, into inhabitable ones. He could go back, and seed life, or phone a Celestial, or just bend reality, right? There's, also, his initial trauma, of seeing how Titan fell to ruin. He could go back, and find solutions to their problems, so he wouldn't have to be alone. He, basically, chose a streamlined route, to end up a curmudgeon. He could've been Santa Claus, but he chose to be The Grinch. You all know that Thanos saves the Universe a couple of times, because... He lives in it. Also the Entire Multiverse twice. In the thanos comics, The Thanos Imperative (That was the Universal) The End Mini series and Infinity Ending Mini Series Both Mulyiunisersal. the end of the universe (Known also as The End) The Marvel Comic explains that Rhanos is created for that reason, to be the greatest hero

This didn't affect me as much when it released, but I do remember hearing people tear up in the theater. But seeing both of you start ..😟

Dr. Strange knew first hand how the events would occur, so he didn't stop Quill while he was punching Thanos. Probably, if they'd have taken the gauntlet off, they wouldn't be able to hold the power of it and everyone would have died for real. So, in the end, Star Lord didn't deviated from the plan 😏

That is where you girls wrong, he is not greedy nor ego, if he has those and didn't love Gamora, he would not obtain the Soul Stone.....

When the music stopped and all you heard was the subtle sound of thunder in the background as ppl started to disappear it was so eerie emotional.

You mean eerie and creepy silence but is with or without wind sound in background better and quieter in this entire snap scene ?

Eternals ads even more context to Thanos' reasoning and negates the thought, why didn't Thanos just make more resources for everyone? Because it doesn't stop the real problem.

31:10 ...Hello? Have you not watched the entire decade of movies back to back? I don't know how many times they/he said he was gonna kill half of all life, and how you missed every single one of them.

One day in our future, maybe many years from now, we face the Thanos question. Over population threatens all life on Earth. Eventually we will be faced with this question...
