These more muted purples look so lovely on you!! I remember a Shoppers BeautyBoutique Consultant said (we have BeautyBoutiques in our Shoppers Drugmart in Canada) to me that I have peek-a-boo eyes. Our hooded lids give that lovely peek-a-boo effect when we close or blink our eyes. I loved that analogy! So rock you peek-a-boo gorgeous eyes. And, yes, Chanel shadows are more classic and wearable rather than punchy as in Natasha. They’re coming from totally different places. And each one has it’s own place in the makeup world. And I totally agree that I believe that quad was originally meant for winter or Australia where my niece is. Lol! 😉💜

Yup, it’s a fall theme - unless you’re “down-unda” ;-) As you alluded to, the tones of this quad aren’t for everyone. In fact, they are pretty identical to the colours that now appear throughout my thinning lids and under my eyes, and which betray my birth-year far more than any other aging sign. To add insult to injury, the shades are not even organized in a flattering halo, they are simply muddied together, as might have been Picasso’s early artistic attempts at age 2. BUT….Against your warm skin tone, the shades are beautiful and very classy. I am envious.

Loved the palette on you! I think it looks like a hint of purple and very wearable. I’m always learning something from your videos and today’s “oh” moment was why I think I cannot wear purples. My undereye pigmentation is more pronounced than yours. It can be a struggle to correct the pigmentation but maintain an undereye that doesn’t look like it has too many layers of coverage. I suppose when I don’t have full correction of the pigmentation then that is when purple hues don’t agree with me.

I like the overall effect of this - generally though, I find violet to be better because of it's brightness - it doesn't relate to the darkness of the under eyes as much as purples can.
