I just read an article on the Wallstreet Journal about your early life, family "challenges" and the circuitous route you took to hoof trimming. I was wondering how profitable the business was so came across a brief synopsis or your journey. Wow, over 600 people signed up for your first hoof trimming seminar from all parts of the world. It's amazing how your first videos intended for farmers have skyrocketed into massive interest around the world. Can't wait for your book to come out. I hope it goes into more detail about the family dynamics, tragedies and triumphs that guided you into trimming. Fascinating. Well done!

It's a thing that often happens here where I live, a lot of people doing work for people (myself and other people I know included), we slip more into the accent of who we're talking to. It builds more of a rapport with the customer. I'm guessing that's what he's doing, not even intentionally, he's born and bred in that area so the accent is part of what he knows. It just comes out stronger when talking to someone who also has the accent coming out thickly

Seeing you two at 7:15 brought a happy tear to my eyes. About 9 years ago my brother was in a car accident and became vegetative, and a few years ago he died. In that time I've bought land and livestock, and I know I would've had him next to me learning a thing or two if he could be there. I'm glad you had that opportunity with your brother.

Thanks everyone. My brother was someone who would never stop moving, learning, and would have lived in a tree in the forest if he could convince his wife and kids it was the right choice. As sad as it was, his death was a relief, because it meant he was no longer stuck in the prison of his own body, and his energy could move on. His ashes have been spread far and wide. They have been buried near his home, they nourish a tree in my yard, they travel in the mountain rivers he canoed, the winds blow them across the plains. I am at peace and moving forward, and so is he.

I keep seeing people on other hoof channels say they prefer the purely technical, short videos. I can't imagine why. I enjoy those as well, but these videos are just as enjoyable with music and seeing you guys driving through the countryside, seeing up the crush, and even the music parts over you just working away. Keep up the good work, I've even added the songs you use to my KZbin driving playlist.
@metaforcesaber
@metaforcesaber 4 ай бұрын
Oh God, those people are so dramatic about it too. Like, the whole point of KZbin is you can customize your recommendations. So either hit the thumbs up, the thumbs down or even don't recommend channel. But those people act like playing a little bit of music during the hoof trim is like some egregious sin. They act like everything has to be a competition.

People can make whatever content the platform allows. People can watch whatever they want. People are allowed their opinion and to voice it. My Gran used to say if you haven't got anything nice to say about someone don't. So ill refrain from commenting about them. Funny how some people are so happy, you can tell this man, his crew and his girls are they don't feel the need to put other people down. "I like both kinds of music, country and western." It's a bleeding you tube channel. Keep up the good work lads from Australia. 13 hot? Now with that I'd have something to say. Come here I'll buy you a beer when it's 40, at 45 yeah, time for the pub, well even at 13 it would be come to think of it but those girls won't give themselves a pedicure that would be udderly ridiculous.

I'm in South Australia, and I absolutely love watching this before I turn out the light. I find it extremely relaxing knowing that you are out they, doing what you're doing for the farms near and far around you. I could see myself doing something like this, caring for animals, and helping farmers out. Watching this each night, listening to your 'thick' Scottish accent makes my day. Please, don't get too busy that you stop the videos coming. I'm so glad to see your brother spend the day with yourself and Craig. I have no doubt that lots of fun was had by all. It's great to see brothers working together. I have had the opportunity to work many jobs with my brother even though we live in different states. We both have the same careers (iron workers) but on the big jobs across the states we find each other. Another great video!!

This was a really fun video! I love that he talked about the smells and things were would not necessarily know about the experience. I definitely didn’t think about the burning hooves with the grinder. What a fun time to have him close. Thanks guys!

Such a beautiful day!!! I really enjoyed this video (as I do all of them). Kinda back to the basics and showing us more of your day than just the severe cases. Like Bob you never really forget the farm life as a kid. The smells transport you back in time. A momentary childhood deja vu. ❤😊👍🏻

This was a great video. It seems like Robert filmed some segments and it was awesome to have a bit more zoomed out view to watch you and Craig work in tandem. Seeing the tools used and hung from a different vantage really showed another piece of the puzzle. Amazing synchronicity. It was also terrific seeing his commentary of being there and seeing it in person. You guys all make a great team as usual.

I love how Bob said how much was enough (not enough or too much) thats always my concern. I wouldnt want to make it worse but also to be ineffective isn't helpful. Great camera work, and incites. Loved thst your brother came today. Have a lovely day tomorrow.

I grew up on Long Island, New York. I lived in several places after high school and lost my accent. But whenever I talk with my family I revert to my Lawn Guyland accent and speech patterns. When you were talking with your brother you went full Scotland and I loved it!
