The skyline of Toronto suddenly reminded me of the Canadian movie. And it is very Canadian in terms of weather. I like the slow but steady pace of the development of the relationship. The ending is very upsetting. Basically, it is a high-quality movie.

I've been with my roommate for over 2 years, he was supposed to pay me rent, utilities and contribute with the maintenance, none of those things have happened; instead, I "felt in love", bailed him out of jail, etc. I've tried everything to at least be friends from keeping our common place clean, etc. I am in the worst place than at the beginning. It's Christmas, and I don't have the heart to ask him to go

This was interesting but waay too slow at first. Too much unimportant detail and too much monotony. Also, the two guys that were room mates looked way too much alike, I couldn't tell which one was in the frame half the time. It picked up halfway through and got better. Why was the weather always cold and miserable? These people all had pretty depressing lives

overall a good film, good character development and we saw Ryan's anguish about what he wanted/who he was very well. Not all films have to have a happy ending, life isn't hollywood. The soundtrack especially in the beginning half was overbearing and made hearing conversations really bad. And why oh why do we have to have cheating, why couldn't it just have been two people get together with the one wanting to keep it on the DL as he wasn't out or couldn't accept himself and had people in his life he was clearly unsure would accept him?? Gay drama yes it was, gay 'romance' not so sure???

Good movie with good dialogue, except when the music drowns out their words. All too often the music-tech gets out of control. The music should be background at best, and usually better absent altogether.

TURN THE SOUNDTRACK DOWN. Otherwise, it's a great movie. These are very common situations between people. It's the reason I could never do anything more than playful flirting with "straight" guys. It's never going to end well. Falling in love with someone who will never honestly love you back.

It's refreshing to see dialogue that resembles more real life as opposed to Hollywood cliches. I don't see how people would cry when they're in denial. I didn't even think the guy was "straight". I thought he was just bi. Unfortunately, this is the 50th or 100th movie where a gay guy falls for a straight guy. We've seen this story before.

KZbin must be kidding! OK they want us to sign up the premium package but the amount of ads it's unacceptable! And the sound quality is terrible, you can't listen the conversation unless the sound is high. I'm watching at night so I had to enable CC that by the way it's horrible! If I was owner of this channel I would have a really serious conversation with KZbin. The movie doesn't seem too good and having to put up with all these things....not sure that I will watch it all way thru

Only Sam sometimes smiles but the face/s in front of him seems to be at a funeral 🙄 And I wish to add that, at least for my mentality, watching TV “ IN BED” with a partner/lover is awful 😫 (unless is a wife or husband married 30 years ago😂😂😂)
