I remember when I asked my hs band director to be drum major. I’m glad he said no😂 respectfully I could not

Its interesting to hear comments about staying in front of the front ensemble during the ballad. Seeing the drum major acknowledging we are playing and deciding to conduct behind our sound is super interesting as a FE member.

I really love this show. It gave me chills watching it. I am auditioning for a drum major position with an all-age corps. Watching your run with the gestures and cutoffs. Seeing it from your perspective gives great insight into conducting on the field. Truly amazing.

Wow. Thanks so much for breaking this down for us! The person I share home with is a music director at a cathedral church. He directs choirs and small ensembles - I'm sure he will love seeing how different your job was! Thanks again!
