That was a very strange lack of empathy and understanding of how much a small toddler could be hurt by a child as bright and articulate as four year old Amelia.

Poor baby Lucas. Amelia is so spoiled, she needs discipline. She should have been punished when she wacked her brother. She's a selfish girl who did it on purpose. Hope the situation is better nowadays. Amelia is the worst kid in this house, she's older than the other ones but she's mean.

When Amelia whacked her baby brother Lucas in the head with the drawers I think she did it on purpose just to get her way to have socks. I think what Amelia did was selfish and somewhat dangerous since Lucas is a infant and has some soft spots on his head.

I have so much admiration for this mom... Amelia really sucks the blood from under nails. I always wondered what happened to them. Did they manage to get Amelia to be nicer? Did the couple survive? Amelia sure is a strong willed little girl. Hats off to the parents!
@mjpledger5 жыл бұрын
I think Amelia is a perfectionist - having everything just so makes her feel good . And I expect her parents are the same from Tania talking about them being successful, driven and goal oriented in another video. I think a lot of Ameilia's frustration is that the parents aren't operating at toddler speed - they are operating at adult speed to get things done and not really listening or noticing what is happening with her - Amelia has to whine otherwise there is no communication (or frustrating communication). One parent offers her a sticker for doing something right but then by the time she had done it they are off somewhere else and then the other parent refuses to give the sticker or starts negotiating for more in order to get the sticker.
@annabarham1554 жыл бұрын
Anita Bath also when Amelia requests (no, demands) for things, like “I want some socks” or “I want a sticker”, I think this has been kind of rewarded in the past, however unintentional this may have been. She demands like that because she’s also receiving mixed signals, because one minute she gets her way and the next minute they say no. She has also learnt to get her way by having a pop at Lucas, especially when parents’ back are turned or when they’re out of the room. You think, Amelia gets rough with Lucas, Lucas cries, Mum comes running and swoops in and takes Lucas out of the equation. Seconds later Amelia starts whining “waaah, I can’t do it, I can’t do it!” That’s attention seeking. I think that perhaps Amelia could’ve put her socks on independently with no fuss if her parents just left her to it and were consistent with rewarding good behaviour and praising her when she’s not whining or having a dig at people.

@@annabarham155 Luckily Amelia didn't give Lucas a concussion. If Amelia gave Lucas a concussion she would be punished big time and throw a massive temper tantrum over socks.

The parents allow their daughter to make a lot of trouble, only cause she don‘t want to put on her socks on her own. Everyone who has kids can see , that she is able to do it. But insteadof ignoring her whining she gets attention.... And, sorry, did I heard it right? „Start smiling.....“.... ???
@laurapotter72512 жыл бұрын
I honestly feel like she does it all because she can, she is allowed to do whatever she pleases because there are zero consequences, 99% of these kids are completely capable of behaving, they don't have to, so they don't!

Jesus, make putting on the socks a fun game one time and she'll do it herself from then on. It's like these parents both baby their kids too much but also treat them like adults. It's bizarre. They don't know how to have fun with their kids, but they also don't know how to set firm consistent boundaries.
