Very nice guide! I shot my only 400+ bull around that river crossing. It happened to be a piebald as well, which was why I shot it, I did not see the rack at all. That was a very nice surprise, and he also won me a competition as well! One of my fondest hunt memories.

I've followed it in the last 2 (in-game) hours, and followed the path you recommended- lots of elks, but they were all females lol... when I was about to give up, finally got calls from males - shot two from a group of three, all above 420 kg- unfortunately I need a real monster for a competition! Thanks again Ron followed this guide and got 3 elk that were over 300 one was 384 my biggest elk and one 297 over at tower 6 on RedFeather Falls. These guides really help me as a new player.

finally just found a 14 pointer elk scored 352 (my second best score) beside the tower on the river for Lucky 7 mission thanks to your strategy, just after 20 minutes.. I was stucked in this mission for two days cause I couldn't find one even I roamed the whole map many times and for several hours Huge thanks to you Ron

Sitting in stands gives you less animals walking by, but thats great opportunity for putting headphones on and doing something else meanwhile. Putting a call every 3-5min or a scent every 15 is great way to do homework/ work from home/ read book etc. So it decreases effectivity in game but increases irl, definetly not less viable way of hunting trophies when you have limited time to play due to chores and you have few tents on map.

Hunting with a compound bow and a tree stand is also good because you can kill 4-5 Elks in 5 minutes and you are not going to scare anything.Great and very helpful video

I don’t think that works anymore, sadly. Long ago you could murder every animal with a clean bow kill and not spook anything but I think the devs ruined the fun and stopped allowing that

Hey Ron thanks for your guide on the Roosevelt elk and your guide on whitetails on loggers point. I watched the loggers point one for whitetail and was on my way to set up some tents in the spots you recommended and took your advice and joined a whitetail comp for biggest buck with shotgun, well on my way to set up the tent I spotted a massive whitetail buck sleeping in the field. I ended up shooting him and he scored 194 my biggest yet. Then I followed the route you recommended on this video and shot a 411 elk not to far from the lodge what luck! Thanks for the guides on the hunter classic keep up the great work!

Recently returned to Classic (worldhunter1) and this was very useful as Roosevelt seem more elusive than RME. Currently my best RME is 389, hopefully I can get a 400 bull of each eventually. You and HooCairs are long-time help since I started. Cheers

thanks. 400 roosevelt elk in classic is one of the ultimate trophy animals. very hard to get. RME equiv is probably a 430+ or bigger.

Very enjoyable videos! Thanks for posting. I used to really enjoy hunting Moose in this game. I remember having lots of fun tracking and chasing them down after I landed a shot on them. I've been tempted to play it again lately and have launched it bit I get bored to death with it quickly and end up closing it. :( Bummed that happens. I'll try enjoying it again now!

In classic i shot a 159 whitetail today and a 169 blacktail that was mixed with a heard of elk, are those deer big ps the whitetail was my second and the blacktail was my 4th

they pretty decent. congrats ! typical rack whitetail males avg 110 -120 scoring wise. medium upto 150. trophy whitetail about 170+ . monsters are 190+ which are rare and very hard to find. my biggest typical whitetail is 221. ive had 4 over 200 which are typical racks in 11 years. thats how rare 200+ is. blacktail male typical antler are bit different as the common males you find are often 145-160. so a trophy one is 190+ monsters 193+ id say.

I carry a hunting blind with me and when I hear a call I get in the blind. I can usually get all of the animals coming in with a bow that way. I've tried the going prone method with a bow, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Every time I stand up to shoot with a bow the animal spooks right away before I can even get the Bow up, And I'm wearing the Guille Forest Camo.

kinda like happend with my friend... 1st game with me, we're hunting whitetail, 2nd kill he got a 203 whitetail... and it took me like 3 months to get that lucky and score a 289 one myself :D so there's ALOT of random luck, trick is NEVER stop trying :D

yeah 220 is good any moose over 200 is classed by many as a great moose real trophy moose over 220. 230+ is very rare and a real monster.

I'm having trouble with this route. Maybe it's the time of day? I've run this route so many times in the last week or so and have only brought in one rlk, and that was off of one male call. All of the other elk have been nothing but female IF i even get calls. Idk what I'm doing wrong :(

just ignore females and look for males. its very rare to find males decent ones near females or with em.

you hunt animals sell the harvested ones for ingame currency called GMS . you can also do missions which reward you with GMS . if you dont want to do that you can also Buy with real money EMS. so there is a option for both ways.
