I remember that game in Klerksdorp very well, my late brother-in-law who was soccer team owner playing at Castle league invited (he paid around 25k) Chiefs reserve to come play against his team. Junior had a blonde hair and as he was warming up, KC coach signed to the late Doctor Phil Maepa to fetch him to come in as a sub, crowd wasn't convinced but after a couple of touches, the crowd went crazy!!! He was alongside Ace le DD Khuse le bo Tsikitsiki.

My testimony on Khanye is that when he first came into the scene in 2002, there was a game he played a night game, wearing that beautiful Navy Blue away kit Chiefs wore that season (Ps. I'm a Orlando Pirates Supporter). Junior was on the left side of the pitch by the touchline, just a metre over the halfway line. He received the ball and attacked the line, cut in on the right and took a shot. His movement was like watching a Japanese fighting cartoon, smooth, futuristic movement, I felt like I was watching a Champions league match, being a night match added to that feeling. He was ahead of his times in football and he could of played in the Champions league like Benny. Amazing talent. Ted Dumitru said a few weeks later in an interview when asked about Junior and Ted said "Junior......his talent is probably unlimited" Never heard any other coach say that about a player.
