Man, this scene alone shows that Medic is such a genius. Outsmarting the Devil is no small feat, and, yet, not only he literally walked out of hell, he also managed to successfully outsmart the Classic Heavy, so the TF2 Heavy could finish him off (teamwork, yay). And in the process of that it was revealed that he actually PLANNED and COMPLETED a way to kill the entire Classic team with one click. Now add to the pile all crazy stuff he discovered and invented. Medic is, probably, the last person on Earth you want to mess with. TF2 has such well-written characters.

Out of all the mercs, Medic is definitely the easiest to turn into a supervillain, he practically is one already. He can resurrect the dead, absorb the souls of others, boost his minions' strength to absurd degrees AND make them invincible, is smart enough to outsmart LITERAL SATAN, and, if that wasn't enough, he has natural regeneration. I'd say it's safe to say that no amount of prep time is saving batman this time.

I imagine that when Medic dies after his 50 years are up, he'll just bullshit his way back to life with another soul. He'd still have a decent handful remaining. so long as he doesn't end up giving away 3 more, he could last for another 100 years with 2 more souls given before it's 50/50 (not counting his own cause he already sold it off initially for the contract with Satan in the first place).

I love this idea for a warlock dnd character. You can have like 4 or 6, maybe 8 patrons max, but if the dm thinks something you're doing is overpowered, then you have to roll above half on a die corresponding with how many patrons you have. That would act as a board meeting voting whether or not you should do the thing.

If souls are considered parts, such as body parts, then he’d still be going to hell, because since the souls he added aren’t consensually donated/given, they’re not his. If they’re grafted into his, then it becomes a Ship of Theseus paradox. Which then the debate of perceptual continuity comes into play, in which I am no way qualified to answer lol
