Exactly! after Tarja left, i could not think of anyone but Floor to represent the band on vocals. When Anette came in, i felt that the band was not in the same line, something was missing and what was missing entered the band. Nothing against Anette, but her voice did not fit the band, while she was in the band, i just listened to the previous songs, with Tarja. Until one day, a friend sent a video with Floor singing with the band. It seems silly, but i cried a lot of joy, it was the realization of a dream in which i never believed it would become real!

I've only discovered The incredible talent of Floor Jansen in the last few months, but she is right in my top 5 vocal choices for her power, ability to emote/cause an emotional response, and quality of voice....freaking amazing I never knew she existed, but can't get enough now.

The question that keeps popping up in my mind is that what cave have I been living in for not discovering her sooner?! In that short amount of time since I heard her voice for the first time, she has definetely become my favorite singer of all time, both male and female. What a talent...amazing!!!

Per-Ivar Sandbæk Ikr! She is certainly the one I listen to the most right now and won't be budging from her spot in my top five, she's actually my third favorite and I think she'll end up tying for second. The more I listen to her the more textures i'm finding in her voice. I have some of her early AF recordings and am fan enough to admit the early days were rocky, but as you listen to the progression and the maturation of her vocals you can't help but be blown away. Can't wait to see her live, from the vids she puts on a hell of a show.

haleskiss I'm digging into her earlier work as well and for certain can say that I like what I find. The more I discover the more she impress the hell out of me! I just saw her and NW live in Norway on the 29th of august and what an experience it was! You really have something to look forward to seeing her live. It's everything you want and more. Oh yeah you nailed it! The gorgeous singing Flying Dutch Angel floor Jansen! There is no comparison between the three. Floor is by far the superior vocalist with a range that could sing any genre. As to where I never liked Nightwish until I heard them with floor. And that happened to be for the first time wacken 2013 show right after bailing them out, flying in with 48 hours to learn all Nightwish songs, and I know I play music and for what songs I sing in My band, I couldn't imagine learning those complex Arrangements and massive lyrics in 48 hours, are you shiting me!? But floor, she's a goddess... A Dutch goddess and the vocal cords to match. And by the way she don't know how to mess up a song and I know I listen to it every day. I must have watched that wimbley 2016 show poet and the Pendulum... Holyshit, okay if you had 300 pound linebacker, the motion she puts in her show and her expressions and movement... You'll cry, like a biatch. Flawless

Well, masses always prefer more dumb and stupid shit. For example "Transformers"- like movies will always gross more than "Blade Runner". Why? Because it doesn't require thinking. Floor's voice is so pretty and it fits the band nicely I think and the fact they've survived changing the lead vocalist twice is amazing cuz not many bands survive that but I'm also really sad that Marco left the band😭 Nightwish will never be the same without him

I do feel after watching a couple other videos I judged to quickly. She is just very excited with Nightwish. They are way bigger. And for the first time in her entire career she is being recognized and having high quality concerts that really show off her abilities. Plus she doesn't have to do all the work. But she still loves revamp

Jack Skellington Jack, she was recognized before with her band After Forever. It wasn't such a famous band but she certainly toured extensively with them in Europe, and she reached USA and Latin America with her records. Many of us knew who Floor was way before she joined NW and knew about the quality of her voice.

Nephania Black I know this. I was very upset when After Forever split. But she was just as much unknown as she was known. Same thing now, but worse then. Nightwish has helped some. It's still quite sad someone of her unique talents and caliber still goes unknown by so many when there will be few singers ever like her
