Meru and Sylwia large weddings happen in India, it was the same in UK when first Generation migrated to the UK. I remember attending wedding receptions with guests between 500 to 800 … 😂 even on my sisters weddings … Half the people I never knew but these were accumulated friends from the community and Parents relatives 2nd and 3rd Gen living here. I always questioned the same thing as Sylwia where did these people turn up from. However times have changed, the new generation bride and groom will only invite 100 maximum between themselves that is close family .. to enjoy the company of close ones and also it means the quality of the reception is better. However bringing down numbers have not helped as the price of an average Indian wedding in UK has soared high due to Bride and Groom wanting expensive banqueting halls to food, alcohol etc Musicians. Average price of an Indian wedding in UK £35/40k 😢 🤦🏻🤷🏽 anyway god bless you both keep smiling be happy.

Very Nice. Sylvia’s Mom looked like her elder Sister. Claudia was “little” Claudia. You both looked a very dashing couple and could see the chemistry of you both back then, including the mischief. Both your families looked very good and everyone was having a great time. Would be nice to see if you had recorded the receiving of Sylvia’s Family and their stay in Jndia at that time, that would have been interesting.

@2:18 Your father is right bcoz kashmir was named after Rishi kashyap and that proves that the legacy of kashmir and Kashmiri pundits goes back to atleast 5000 years. 🙏 It's also the land of Maa Saraswati bcoz Sharda peeth was in kashmir,I mean it still is but unfortunately that part of kashmir is occupied by Porkistan. But current government has promised that soon the Hindus will once again be able to Visit Maa sharda temple in P.O.K just like modi ji made kartarpur corridor possible. Let's see how long we'll have to wait but I'm 100% positive that day will come 🙏 Jai Maa Saraswati.
