Cool to see that Dondi decided to put the skeleton underwater. :) I had said when we saw it before it looked like a spino skeleton, and some were aquatic, so it would make sense if that's what it is. Also, do you remember that Dondi told you when you said "it wasn't meant to live" that, that was not why it died, and when asked if something bigger killed it, he said not to worry about it. ;)

I have a few theories but for the sake of everyone, I'll just post one. In this case, because we know most dinosaurs on the island are man-made we can infer that this one was as well. We can also infer that based on the skeletal structure that this was some type of spinosaurid and was most likely a water dweller to begin with. That being said we also know that the largest creatures alive today dwell within the water. The water allows them the freedom to grow to a massive size with less risk of their weight crushing their own organs and less restriction on blood flow. My theory is. This poor creature was set loose and found itself drawn to the lake. A "flaw" in its genetics prevented the creature from reaching a maximum size. As it became larger it depended more and more on the water to be able to support it's massive bulk until it was completely unable to leave the water. Thereby trapping it within the lake. With incredible size come incredible hunger. It was probably unable to snag enough food just from the water's edge and starved. That would explain why there's no visible bone damage. But again I'm no genius and this is just my theory.

I have a theory. I dumb theory, but a theory nonetheless. What if it’s actually a new series of dinosaur being produced on the Island, such as Type H (Hyperendocrin)? Well, even for type H, its far too big, so we can give a number of options to its official type, such as Type D (Deus interfectorem, which translates to God Killer), Type K (Kaiju), or Type SH (Super Hyperendocrine). You might ask, “How could it survive when its so big? There’s no living creature that could sustain it!” Well, notice how it vaguely resembles the skeleton of a Spinosaurus, it has spines. Many people theorize that large sails across the backs of Spinosaurus, Dimetrodon, etc. were used as a way to heat and cool their large bodies. I say that whoever made this colossal specimen knew these factors and created a solution by giving the sail special properties, giving it the ability to solely consume the energy of the sun, if needed. Now you might also think “Well, wouldn’t the sail be too small in comparison to its gargantuan body?” Well, think about trees. Only a small portion of mass of the tree is the actual leaves, which are what absorb sunlight, but they can still survive through other factors, such as carbon dioxide and water. This shows that even if the sail won’t work, it can still consume other materials to survive. Now, this theory leads into how it died. Likely, there wasn’t enough sunlight out, as it could have been a hurricane (which can happen quite often for an island such as this one). Other dinosaurs would either run/hide from the hurricane, or die off and be washed away with the water surge. This would leave no options of consumption for our Colossal Spinosaurus buddy. You might think “Well, what about the water?” Well, hurricanes can leave a lot of water around, and there’s a likely chance this lake the skeleton resides in was not there. Therefore, I conclude that the Kaiju-sized Spinosaurus died due to a complete lack of comsumption options, therefore its body lay in a ditch, as the hurricane washed over its huge corpse, leaving only submerged bones to tell the tale.
