It’s the ghost of a person not an animal and they are not vets ( I get the joke you made lol) but ghosts can sometimes affect the temperature of the area around them as well as interacting with items in the environment. Certain types of ghosts I absolutely want to bich slap sometimes but they don’t have a slap the ghost in the face button so can’t really slap the ghost yet.

The bits of advice I'll give to make next run a bit easier: Breath doesn't automatically mean freezing any more. The ghost can sense electronic equipment when it's turned on. Also, if you want to communicate with a dead teammate (like skilly in the revenant/mare game), use the radio. They can still hear it. Hope that helps! 😊

@@LeeSindrum It also says that 0 is freezing but it isn't, only below 0 because it will never be just 0 but it'll be close at 0.1 which isn't freezing. The devs are assholes I lost respect for a while ago (played since the games launch, over 200 hours, got burnt out and even purchased the limited edition voodoo doll) and the stuff they have done recently including CJ doubling down on how they purposely made it dark so people couldn't cheese the no flashlight modifier (in a non-competitive coop game) which excluded a group of people from playing the game suddenly because brightness no longer does anything as an accessibility option and he said they won't revert it and you're absolutely stuck with the T1 stuff till you grind. They spent 11 months to reset your level and bring in new equipment models. I like this youtuber but not "literally everything" was changed, almost nothing was changed in 11 months. The majority of the game is still assets. It's not the fun pick up with your friends and casually have some laughs and spooks game, it's a sweaty game that people even in these comments are getting on IGP about being "ignorant" when the damn evidence doesn't line up because of bad mechanics. You need the memory of sherlock holmes to remember the behaviors of 24 different ghosts, to which the game doesn't even tell you that some ghosts fucking BLINK differently, and the items in each map in each room to know if something was moved slightly. The T1 equipment make it such a headache to play, that any new people I get to try to play with me end up getting fed up, first with the mess of an inventory menu and then trying to collect evidence to the point where usually I'm just the one that ends up doing it and we last maybe only 2-3 matches.

Most ghosts will speed up while chasing so breaking los keeps their speed down and gives a better chance of surviving the hunt. Just so you guys know (in case you want to beat the challenge and get alot of XP and monies), the ghost is "frail," meaning no matter what ghost it is, they will move slow the entire time (good and bad because you cant tell what ghost it is based off its movement speed while hunting). It's better to just run it around in circles in the attic or living room. Also, kills while it is hunting extend the hunt duration.

Has anyone else been getting ghost evidence, just to find that the ghost was somehow completely different with different evidence? I had a game where I found freezing temps and ghost writing, and judging how the ghost was being very aggressive I decided to mark Demon in my journal and leave. When i got back to the lobby I found out that somehow the ghost was a banshee, despite banshees not having freezing temps or ghost writing.

@@xyrkzes I'd assume freezing temps being wrong, most people aren't aware that the breath no longer means freezing. As for writing, it's mostly the tier 1 looking like it already has scribbles on it, while it doesn't. Take a photo to make sure you have it. So overall it's mostly ignorance, sorry for being harsh but it's real, there's no bug related to evidences. Hopefully y'all can learn from these mistakes if you understand them. Even if there's no evidence bug, I'll agree that tier 1 items are hard to figure them out. DOTS pen is horrendous, the thermometer slow af (just put it in the room, holding it and waiting is just a waste of time/sanity), and the spirit box answer frequency can make it hard to get. Best way is if you get a ghost event, spam the spirit box where the ghost was.

@@xyrkzes 32F/0C doesn't exist, the red mercury is slightly above it (so it's something like 0.1°C) which isn't freezing (as close as it is) You can only confirm freezing when it's really going under it. As for writing, idk what to tell you other than I don't believe you, this has never happened to anyone I watched (mostly Psycho/Insym) or myself in multiple hundred hunts since the patch.

I know you guys have some issues with the direction of the game recently, but just wanna say... the 3 (or 4) of you playing this is some of the best content I've seen from you. I think it's just the chemistry each of you have, the teamwork (or lack thereof lmao), the bickering, and the screams of terror. Also, your editing as always is top notch, IGP. I absolutely love this game dude, I'm so glad to see you guys playing it again! Some friendly tips if you decide to play in the future: The ghost can't hear your radios, you can talk through it without the ghost detecting you The ghost can however detect all handheld electronic devices, flashlights, camcorder, EMF reader, etc. You may need to drop certain items to prevent the ghost from seeing you, some items can't be turned off like the camcorder or the upgraded photo cam The new ultraviolet evidence (Handprints, footprints) need to be charged with UV light before you can take a picture of them There are some hiding spaces that are not immediately behind closed doors, look for stacked up boxes, plywood laying around, some kinds of furniture, things like that Dead players can hear the radio talk, no matter where the dead player is. Useful to communicate evidence/ghost type/shit talking lol Freezing breath, while not always indicative of actual freezing temps, is a very good indication the ghost is in the area The spirit box needs specific phrases to be able to respond "Where are you" "How old are you" "Are you here" "Are you close" are good ones to cycle through The Ouija board also needs specific phrases, and will drain massive amounts of sanity depending on the question. "Where are you" "What is your favorite room" "How old are you" "How did you die" "Where is the bone" are the most useful but also some of the most dangerous ones. You can troll by saying "Hide and seek" and it will trigger a hunt. When you use the board you have to say "Goodbye" before you leave it or it will destroy the board and trigger a hunt, hence the fire effect you saw in the room just before you died Super long comment, sorry about that, but I play the hell out of this game and love seeing people play it, I hope to see more of it!

A few interesting/fun facts The writing that you found on the wall is part of a puzzle across several maps. that hint will lead you to another spot on another map. Look at the lobby floor with a UV to see what those puzzles are for. The ghosts have a lot of fun traits/abilities that can help identify them. some examples Obake: has a unique handprint that randomly spawns, also can shapeshift into another ghost model during a hunt. Phantom: Taking a picture will make it vanish (in photo as well) Poltergeist: Will throw a TON of items during a hunt, also try piling a bunch of items together in the ghost room and watch it. Polty explosions are fun to watch Thaye: Immediately super active, Moroi is the opposite and will become more (and hunt faster) active as your sanity goes down Deogen: One of the few ghosts that you can outrun with ease, but never hide from one! Though it'll be hilarious when you inevitably do lol

Tip 1: ANY electronic equipment or torch will draw the hunting ghost to you, which is why it kept killing you. Tip 2: Cold breath no longer means freezing temp. You have to "clearly" see below 0 on the thermo Tip 3: Sitting in the dark your sanity drops like a rock and most ghosts hunt at 50% team sanity. Priority is find the breaker, then turn on the lights of any room you go into (turning off when you leave the room so you don't pop the breaker). I played this new update a little bit before you guys did and i finally figured out that the shop tab, you have to click on the picture then buy and add it to the current van if you don't then you have to add in from the inventory tab. Of course I'm not entirely sure but this is what I learned so far.

Tips for the update: Just because you see your breath in a room doesn’t mean freezing temps. It just means the room is cold. It helps with finding the ghost room. You can place a dots projector down and have it shine in a direction. Don’t use a tripod with a t1 cam. Next to impossible to see ghost orbs. Don’t upgrade to a uv flashlight, the glow stick is infinitely better. The shop has 3 tiers of items that you unlock as you level up. To get a higher tier item you need to be at the level threshold and have money to unlock it permanently (unless you prestige). Amazing video guys! Y’all are funny.

Tips: Freezing temp is bellow 0 C. Breath appears around 5 C. The ghosts will find you if you don’t turn offthe equipment. That means All the equipment.don’t try to hide with a camera (video or otherwise) selected. In doubt, if the items say electronic on the description it will be detected.

Please, utilize the lights in the houses. It could help you detect ghosts especially when you lack equipment. For all the ghost hunters out there, that wanna play phasmo after the update; here some tips: - Seeing your breath doesn’t mean freezing temperatures anymore, it triggers at 10° - Turn off equipment during hunt. A flashlight on the ground that is on doesn’t count as active equipment - UV footprints count as UV proof too ( there was a time where only Fingerprints counted ) - holding the F button while placing the book or crucifix shows you the range it covers - There is always a cursed item on every map (except for insane difficulty) - if you throw the music box on the ground ( and not lay it down with F) it triggers a hunt. Always say good bye at the ouija board - in a Hunt: get out of line of sight before hiding, you can loop most of the ghosts in many areas Happy hunting! ☺️

I know I’m late to this IGP and you don’t know me I’m just another subscriber but I love this content soooooo much!!!❤ I saw you ask how the shop works so I’ll explain it.! Whenever you buy an item using the + on an item it adds it to your cart to buy as a whole with all other items and depending on how much you press + is how many your buying, same thing with loadout when your adding to the van for the investigation. The number next to the box 📦 icon in the shop/loadouts section is how many you have in your inventory or how many you have in reserves to add to the next investigation, and the number next to the van/truck 🚐 icon you see is how many of that item you added already to use and whenever you like 0/2 or 0/4 that means you can only add that amount of that item to the investigation. Ex: 0/4 strong lights means no strong lights, and 4/4 strong lights mean 4 are added to use. Hopefully this wasn’t confusing to you and it makes sense!! I never understood it until I really payed attention to the numbers and such there and then it all clicked lol. I hope to see more phas vids I love ‘em!!😂

the first house u go in, here's a tip bc i play phasmophobia all the time: an Obake has 6 fingers and it has a chance of spawning 6 fingers on a door, but mostly just uses 5 to taunt and confuse its prey(s)

So somthing to know which has screwed up people a lot in the New update. Is that your breath doesn't indicate Freezing Temps anymore. It is just there to help find the ghost room now. Onl the thermometer will help with the temps if it's below 0 C or 32F

To survive a hunt, you must turn off all electronic equipment that's on you, including the flashlight. Ghosts will sense them and move towards thier location. You then have to find a hiding spot, in a closet, in a corner behind some furniture, anywhere that can block line of sight. However, there is one ghost you can run but CANNOT hide from.

Just a tip, I haven’t played in a long time but im pretty sure its stayed the same. If you don’t break line of sight from the ghost it will gradually get faster and faster, breaking line of sight is as simple as turning a corner when you ghost is chasing you, or closing a door behind you or opening it up behind you where the door will block off line of sight as you continue to run forward away. You will instantly hear it slow down

Also you have to turn off your equipment before you go into closet or room or any hiding spot because the ghost will track your equipment and will go to the last spot your equipment was on at and will roam around that area

While IGP remembered sometimes to turn off your electronics, you did it AFTER hiding. Think of it like a stealth game, the second you turn off your electronics, the ghost will "lose" sight of you, BUT it still remembers your last location. That you occasionally survived despite the electronics, is because the ghost was busy trying to kill someone else. The 2nd last hunt was a prime example, you turned off the flashlight in the room, and kept the camera out, hiding did nothing for you.

If your read the patch notes it says you have to turn the power on to warm the house up. It does take awhile. You'll have to keep playing to get the right equipment to read things with better accuracy.

Love these vids but yeah you cant see freezing temps via breathe anymore. You need to turn on breaker( this is so the house warms up so you can find coldest room) Youll see cold breathes near ghost room anything below a 5 is cold breath but NOT freezing temps. Only way to confirm freezing temps is via thermo and has to be under 0 (not 0 but under 0). 😂❤ love your vids haha
