This is so good. It reminds me of the movies with stranger things and troll hunter. I hope they add more but expand the map with monsters and choices. It’s such a good game and others should know about this. It has so much potential especially when it’s monsters. Part of me thinks that if he had instead gone to the beach or gone to Jasper's that the "epilogue" would have played out longer. Basically going to the city or going to the parents place probably does a quick ending while the other two choices have their own ending, or all 4 could have their own endings. I don't know, I don't have the game, but it wouldn't make sense to have that many choices via "go to X, Y, Z, or W locations on the map to chose" to have the end result be the exact same with little to no variation between them.

This game is a great example on how to make some from resold assets. Just need a couple simpler art pieces of creatures, set up on map with some props, some self made others cheap to buy, and then throw in a story, cool atmosphere, and some coding to make it all work and bam you can make a simple but interesting game for relatively little effort/people needed. And at the same time it doesn't feel all obvious and generic with a bunch of random models you recognize from other places being used because of that atmosphere and unique twist on things. For solo or small team devs, great example here.
