I had a legit Dech kit on my 88 notch back in the day. Sold that car in 2010 after having it for 20 years...biggest regret ever! Didnt even know you could still buy these kits still since Derek passed.

Quick idea . I used silicone adhesive . Clear area with alcohol. Small dab of silicone in your desired area's. Fid a say to press fit it over night done . If you ever want to remove it . Silicone does come off with some work and should damage the paint . 2 way tape in my experience doesn't alway last . Drys out over time and when you want to remove it . Sure is a pain in the ass . Best a luck .

Another option instead of the duraglass to adhear the tabs would be to use a panel bonder. Looking good none the less!

Why not add the "U" brackets from the GT for support? I have done something similar on my boys New Edge models. The Convertibles have bolt on frame rail connectors and an under the front end "X" brace under the engine that will bolt in place with some small modifications on the coupes.

Hi wuts up, great show. Question, I’m eventually doing the 4 to 8 swap. Gathering all the parts needed off the donor car. Would it make any sense to instal the 5.0 rear end on while I’m still using the 2.3 ? Also.. do you have an extra 90 5.0 harness to sell ?

Would love to remove the painted pinstripe off my original paint 89 notch with single stage paint, will the reducer harm the paint under the pinstripe..

Is there a Dech kit for 91-93? Aren't the fenders different for those cars?
