Another thing people don't understand is that the food you eat doesn't matter. You can lose weight eating nothing but fast-food, you just have to calorie count and make sure you don't go over. Eating healthy is still good for you of course, but I lost weight by just skipping breakfast, eating a snack bar for lunch, and having popeyes chicken or pizza for dinner. Easy peasy.

I started my weight loss and fitness journey six months ago. I’m happy to say, I’ve lost 41 pounds, my muscle tone is back and my abs are starting to show. How did I do it? I no longer drink Soda. I drink a lot of water with a lemon slice for flavor. I eat small portions. I eat out maybe once a week but it’s not like McDonald’s fast foods, it’s more fast casual with products that are made from ingredients that are not as bad as fast food. Salads are my favorite. I’ll have a burger a couple times a month from places that use fresh made ground beef and heart toppings. I don’t like ketchup because it’s loaded with sugar. Basically, I kicked refined unnatural sugar out of my life (except on special occasions such as my birthday) no soda, no drink that is not water. No more deep fried things. No fast food. And the important part, I hit the gym 4X a week. I wish I could post my before/after image to show the huge progress I’ve made. It’s really amazing. It just takes a person to finally dedicate to their goal. Stop saying...”I will start tomorrow” trust me, tomorrow never comes with that mentality. @oxygen potassium ppl in my city dump their sandwiches or other food on the floor cos they cant walk the two steps to the bin, they think the pigeons and seagulls would just take care of the trash and they dont care that the place is being covered with poo. But the seagulls are really aggressive. Apart from the edible trash ppl also throw non edible trash and everything is attracting mice and rats (theres also a lot of roadkill cos of this). I doubt u wanted to hear this but a lot of ppl lazy and its causing problems

Best tip: cut back on refined/artificial sugars (fruit sugars are cool cause your body doesn't store that sugar), cut back on white rice and white bread too, or give them up completely, drink more water, and eat smaller servings (stick to serving recommendation on the packaging too!) mix up your exercise and take a day off from your work outs every now and then. I was 70 kg, now 68.5kg and waist from 77 cm down to 73 cm.

@@yeahidek6774 Nope, it’s the opposite. If you don’t eat breakfast your body will still be in “fat burning mode”. As soon as you eat your first meal your metabolism will start and you’ll enter “fat storing mode”. When you’re in “fat storing mode” you get a lot more hungry a lot quicker, which means you’ll eat a bigger lunch than those who skipped breakfast.

As an absolute rule of thumb, you can eat whatever you want but in smaller portions. I tried it once and I lost 7 lbs in weight! Also, I never had a car which meant I always got around by walking, cycling. or using public transport. It's good for not only the environment but for one's physique, too. In other words, as an alternative to any old gym, leave the car at home and get around by some other means. Go on, try it!

I believe it mostly boils down to the fact that a 150 years ago, most people went most places on foot or horseback, usually carrying very heavy loads. My father told me about his grandafather, a simple farmer, who used to carry 60-80 kg sacks of potatoes and stones well into his 80's (not making this up!). Nowadays me and him sit all day pushing buttons, so the ancient genes we have for constant movement have no way to keep us fit. Some people not only have to hit the gym every single day, they must constantly be active just to keep an equilibrium, like dirtfarmers of old. This is human evolution. Skinny models without one ounce of fat couldn't survive the winter during the Stone age in Europe, and that's why endomorphs had an offspring.

Exercising has made me watch what I eat and how much water I drink. Eat garbage food, exhaustion hits you hard and your stomach aches. Not drink enough water, you’re gasping for air with a dry itchy throat. I still think the most important factor is portion size, but exercise has a much larger impact than just burning calories.

Calories in; Calories out It's that simple, I've been doing it for a decade. Cutting phase then bulking phase. It's that easy to change weight. People are having a hard time managing their weight because of all the corn syrup, sugar, processed foods, etc. which spikes their insulin every time they eat leading to obesity. Eat clean and Count/estimate your macros and you can get any weight you want

Food aside heres what i do everyday •drink 1 gallon of water •3 workout sets of: -30 sit ups -10 push ups (or 20 on knees) -50 russian twists -50 squats/ 40 jump squats • has at least 1/2 veg/fruit •randomly walk around my house •random tasks •play the drums randomly (1 hour of playing is 270 calories gone) •sleep 6-9 hours a day on average

It is well known that the rise in sugar consumption is the cause of the spike in obesity. Yes, portion control, calorie intake, not exceraizing etc. play a big part, but if you want to blame one thing, start with the gobs of sugar that are in absolutely everything. I was disappointed to see that he did not speak more about this.

@infographics I've always tried to eat about half of my restaurant served meal portions or less (or until i felt full but not stuffed) and save the rest to enjoy again later. This has contributed to my small appetite and non-desire to eat everything in sight. It's actually affected my mom as well. She grew up in a family where you had to eat everything on your plate as fast as possible. This is an obvious contributor to weight gain, but when I grew old enough to monitor my own self's portion control, she unconsciously followed and started to do the same thing of not eating the restaurant portion and taking some home instead.

I've lost 35 pounds since December off of keto diet and working out twice a week. #1 thing I've learned over the whole process? Sugar and processed carbs are horrible for you and quite hard to avoid at that. It's possible is you put the effort in, though! I don't think there's a one size fits all kind of approach for weight loss, but I drink liquor multiple times a week with diet soda, I eat out on my lunch break 4-5 times a week (Wingstop, In-N-Out, Chipotle, Popeyes...), and I'm still able to manage the ongoing weight loss. You know what I did cut out though? Candy, cookies, chips, fries, cereal, pizza, pasta, bread, bagels, potatoes, juice, soda, fried and breaded foods, etc.

Best tips? A ketogenic diet, using IF (Intermittent Fasting) and Omad (One meal a day). + Walking if you're not in to any sports or gym activities. I lost 12 kg (from 91 to 79) in only 1 month. It can be tough the first days, but eventually your body adapts.

I'm 46 and have been lifting weights and eating a carnivore or sometimes keto or paleo diet since I was 16. I've been told I look 30. I have 6% body fat and feel like a beast. My main motivation is health because it's common sense to me. But I love how I feel and look, I can't imagine lugging around a hundred pounds of fat, being tired and out of breath all the time, and being repulsed by my appearance, not being able to look down and see my feet and my dick. I also will fully admit I HATE fatness and fat people, they just disgust me

I'm pretty sure everyone out there already knows why they're fat: It's not glandular You don't have a slow metabolism (you actually have a faster metabolism; the more you eat and weigh, the faster your body burns calories) It's not your "condition" You weren't "just born big" You're fat because you eat more calories than your body needs. That's it.
