He obviously had mental issues, especially shown at the end of the video where he says "I'm a nice guy, but sometimes I lose all my senses and become nasty. That doesn't make me evil, just confused." The authorities definitely were incorrect in their repeated incarceration of him. This was a man who needed extensive psychiatrics care, and it seems that even when he was admitted to a mental facility, he was never helped (as with his absence of any diagnosis). You could see that he was extremely neurotic, edgy, and probably had mood swings. Most-likely he could've been bipolar or something of the sort.

Or it might of just been a plan to say "I'm Mr.Goodguy" and win the hearts of people so they would protest for him. He kidnapped, tried to poison an inmate, paralyzed guards, but surprisingly not a rapist. All actions have consequences... And thats life time in jail. Its like say Tony Stark killed 5 people but then donated to charity, ignorant people would protest for him because he is Mr.PopularGuy.

He got a life sentence because someone was taken hostage (but she was ok after) - that's SICK! Yet while he handicapped for life MANY guards - THAT means he should be put down. Because no temporary sentence will repair the damage he has done to these paralyzed ones and their families. As we see - the prison isn't any effective punishment for him. This is a special case - maybe he should be executed...

Geez, this guy sounds absolutely insane. Dude he literally beat up and the was 5 seconds away from killing a dude because he killed an innocent child, he ain’t gonna hurt children, another thing most violent prisoners don’t hurt children ever cuz it’s part of a moral code they have, don’t hurt innocent woman and kids, most of the prisoners are “violent” to other prisoners and guys who ask for it.

Nah, he just learned to live in his own head and kinda gave up on ever reintegrating himself into society after the first 7-8 years of jail. Not much that's for sure, you already have food and water so if you can entertain yourself with random thoughts then you're set for life.
