I live on an island between finland & sweden. I once stood on a beach near our western coast & a russian fighter blew over our heads flying really low.. The thing is NO ONE not even our own Finnsh army are allowed to be in our waters or skies without asking & receiving permission.. Russia constantly does this agression thing where one or two of their fighters flies into others airspace. And same with their submarines & ships.. They are annoyingly constantly everywhere.. like ants on a picnic..

That is because they are completely surrounded in the Baltic. They can't do anything without violating NATO Space anymore and since it is such a tiny area no matter where they go they would look like ants on a picnic. It won't be you and other unarmed civilians on the beach, but armed NATO forces with ground to air missiles waiting for a field day instead of watching helpless as Russians enjoy their picnics.

@uncle0quenchy Жыл бұрын
I think that with the current population growth trends and the effects of them we see in the world, the use of nuclear weapons will be focused on major population centers to simply obliterate the enemy's capability of sustaining a long war. Conventional forces can destroy conventional forces, but cannot destroy cities. So it would be pretty genocidal. Which suits me, I have zero aspirations living in a post-nuclear war Earth.

As described in the video, people come last as far as Russia is concerned. That explains the cannon fodder methods and other stuff such as cardboard stuffing in body armour. The oldies used to say, this during the Soviet era, that the Kremlin, the autocrats, don't care how many people they waste, even their own, as long as they retain the reins of government. In 1992 I was in Ukraine, and in places over there, I was not happy with toilet facilities. I was told that toilet paper was considered a luxury over there. In Australia, people have ready access to half a dozen different types of toilet paper rolls,rhick ones, thin ones, soft ones, hard ones, crinkled ones. Better care for people than in former iron curtain countries. One wondered where a country's taxes or wealth were used?

This has come at a cost of 42,000 Ukrainian soldiers and nearly 40% of all the armor we have provided to them for this strike. I don't know what Russia was thinking when their convoys got stuck. When invading a country, you have a very short window to take over existing government. When their convoys stalled. They already lost. They should have turned around and gone home. Now we're almost two years in and 100s of thousands of people from both side are dead. Its insane.

In a war against NATO, F-22's would annihilate Russia's air force.
