There's a programming glitch I've noticed in the 360 version. They've unlocked all the characters and colours for you and eliminated the experience system but in doing so the game doesn't progress. There are over 30 character you'll never encounter in the arcade mode (unless they're in your team) and dollars to doughnuts the first team you face will be Dr. Doom, Colossus, and Omega Red.

The control pads are sooo important to this game. Dreamcast, d-pads are stiff..so are ps2..super-jump is vital to this game..

From what I know, the only two ways you could play this game on XBOX 360 were (a) the Xbox Live Store and (b) use an original Xbox copy. Can someone please confirm this for me? I am only asking since I don't have any of the other consoles in which you can play this game, just Xbox 360.

Yes, but the backwards compatibility if you used the original Xbox version on the Xbox 360 was pretty broken, so the only real way to play it on Xbox 360 was getting through the xbox live arcade back when it was available.

goku Capcom's licensing contracts with Marvel had expired at the end of 2013 meaning they don't have the rights to keep those titles digitally (XBLA/PSN/PC/iOS). You can however still buy Marvel VS. Capcom 3 or Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 on a disc.
