Recently got to play this and Kage was by far the best fit for me quick and well balanced. Translation I couldn't figure the combo system so I button mashed the hell out of it with Kage.

vf4 evo is so much better. it ran waaay smoother on my pal ps2. plus, it has way more content and even includes the vanilla stages.
