Another quality video as always. Very informative. I'm wondering if you can suggest a broad spectrum preservative for a water based hair pomade that I am working on. Its mainly natural products that are available in most supermarkets, other than stearic acid that I order online. So far I've come up with a product that I'm happy with, not watery, good hold and easy to apply. Now I've got a decent recipe after lots of wasted formulas, I need to find a preservative to keep it safe from spoiling. Can you suggest a preservative, and how much I would need to add for 100g of product. Any help would be appreciated Regards Lloyd.

I’m assuming the xanthan gum is solubilizing the oil. Roughly how much oil can it solubilize and does that also change with the grade of xantham?
