In my opinion stray kids is the most talented group in the whole world. I love how they don’t have an exact concept to follow and how they put a lot of effort into their music. Beyond the English translation for everything, the Korean wordplay is them playing 7 dimensional chess while everyone else plays checkers. The word ‘teuk’ in Korean means odd (in a mildly derogatory way), and Byul is ‘star’. But teuk-byul means ‘special’. Their plays on teuk throughout Changbin’s b-boy rap, and star and byul is incredibly astounding. A bilingual fan did a break down of all the details the other day. Beyond that, they make references to countless past music videos in theirs.

Blue light is Thunderous, guys with the cake is from God's Menu etc. Stray Kids is the most experimental, disruptive and edgy kpop group out there. Nobody is like them in look and sound. This is why they are called the generation 4 leaders. I won't be surprised if this album goes to number 1 on billboard. If so it'll be their third time.

There are call outs EVERYWHERE in this video. The set with the trash looks like a call out for TOP, the truck is Christmas Evel, there's something that looks like a call out for Astronaut and another for OH, the Thunderous goblins, the Chef from God's Menu, the fire/the elephant sound/the puddles from Circus, the versions of them dancing next to them at a different time looks like All In, the goggles on the squid are from Maniac, and those are just the ones I found lol

The director for this video (and most of skz's MVs) is Bang Jae-Yeob. He's literally one of the best directors in all of Kpop. Like the man actually creates storyboards for every scene before filming it's crazy. All of his music videos slap too

3:09, Nah man, that was completely real, no cgi!! Straykids has a habit of almost never using cgi and always doing crazy stunts and stuff like that! In their music video “God’s Menu”, Hyunjin was standing in the middle of a race track while cars passed by him at really high speeds which was very dangerous since they were like less than 2 or 3 feet away from him! They also rented a whole ship in the middle of the Han River just for this music video! The budget for this music video was crazyyyyy. Also, I think you should react to some of their more underrated songs like Muddy Water, Maze of Memories, Any, 3RACHA, The Tortoise and the Hare, N/S, TOPLINE, ITEM, and some of their solos like Close, Wish you back, HaPpY, Run, Alien, and I GOT IT all by Han Jisung and also Drive by Bang Chan and Lee Know, ZONE by Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han Jisung, and lastly Doodle by Changbin. All of those songs are I guess you could say “rap based” so I would really recommend them, especially Han Jisungs songs.
