We are still waiting for the dance practice or a full performance (crossing fingers and hope they drop it soon). We have a little sneak peak from the TMA(The Fact Music Awards) performance they did recently... but it's too short. At first it was like wow 50 Shades of Stray (the electric guitar sound is soooo sexy and the song itself has that vibe), but then you thoroughly read the lyrics and pay more attention to the choreography and you realize that they want to convey an internal struggle over their own desires and frustrations within the industry they are part of. The mirrors could be interpreted as your constantly search on your inner self or maybe how you're portray to the world but you're also struggling inside. It's kinda deep. Them being workaholics and passionate at the same time (about making music/dancing). Maybe that's why we see that somehow they feel trapped, they are tied to chains and ropes, they cannot breathe... etc. I felt that they deliberately chose to make the MV with that sexy undertone, the colors, etc... because just like any passion in your life, it can feel similar to that emotion. The innate need to create and feel yourself create as well as giving the other participant (in this case Stays, our fandom) more of yourself and possibly losing a bit of yourself in the process (going crazy now🎶🎶). Remember that Stray Kids is a self-produced group. They write their own lyrics and they participate on the whole making process. Specially Bang Chan, the leader. He's one of the producers of the group and part of 3RACHA. You made me laugh with the green light thing, hahahaha. The red lights could also be interpreted as recording lights. Always being in the focus of the industry, but I'm not quite sure. I think it is open to multiple interpretations.

You are getting into skz in a unique way haha red lights is one of the three songs the members made in skz song camp where they made songs by units and also came up with the music video concept, story, props etc. The thing with skz is they always make songs open so people can relate to it by their own personal experiences. But I'll explain what is this song about from chan and hyunjin's meaning. In a simple way to explain, this song is about being workaholic. Skz as a whole are bunch of workaholics. The korean title is compulsion. Bangchan is crazy about producing while hyunjin is crazy about dancing. So even when they want to take a break, their body is compulsing them to continue working. "all i see is red lights" red lights can mean a lot of things, usually when recording (camera, audio, studio and more) it's on when you see the red lights or red button to start recording. For the mv they also explained it, they're supposed to be one person hence the mirroring. The chains also represent being compulsed by their own body to be stuck (working) and them breaking from it. The mv and song is sexy but there is a deeper meaning to it and the sensuality was used as a metaphor to hide the actual meaning they personally made it from. Skz explained it themselves, the skz song camp showed how they made the unit songs. It's fun to be a stay, skz songs are always meaningful. They usually talk about their songs (meaning, when and how they made it, their inspiration etc) more on vlive (livestream app) or bubble (messaging app) or their videos.
