Pile 2, I appreciate your analysis of my thinking around this situation immensely! It was spot on because I did feel that this person was taking my intelligence out of the equation and delusionally assuming that these patterns wouldn’t be recognized or that the lack of effort would somehow be enough. I ended the relationship and refocused my attention on myself because I did not have the time to work through confusion on someone else’s behalf. It’s not my responsibility and his behavior is out of my control! We are both young and the same age, but I do value maturity and stability. I’m not in the place to waste time and can detach emotionally enough to take a rational and higher look at what was playing out here. Thank you for validating that! I always appreciate your take on things and laugh alongside of your frustrations with certain individuals. It’s helpful to know that someone else is also thinking “what the heck is all of this??” Emotions aren’t enough sometimes, you do need stability! Love is wonderful and great but without doing anything to ground it, what are we actually left with?

Pile 3!! OMG Incredibly accurate! We were in a long distance relationship and he was going through a stressful home situation and broke up with me in May. We went no contact and he moved on with someone else locally. I had wondered if he was happier with her, and hopefully this indicates it won't last long so we can try again. Thank you so much!

Pile 1. How i wish it was true. I am grumpy one. Cos he allows ex to disrespect me. Pile 2. That resonated so much it was ridiculous! Exactly how it's been for me recently with this connection. Just not sure what the action was to take.... do what?
